ill tell you right now it is because mike mularkey is our offensive coordinator he never runs the ball(you cant win games without running) he just makes horrible calls ill say with confidence if we still had scott linehan intstead of him we'd be atleast 3 and 1.....and does any1 kno what the hell is wrong with our O-Line we went from 2nd least sack allow to most sacks allowd and we all kno whos fault it is i mean look at buffalo this year since theyve gotten rid of mularkey willis mcgahee leads the nfl in rushing ..coinsidence.. i think not!

GET RID OF MULARKEY HE DIDNT GET HIS LAST NAME 4 NOTHIN

i love this guys post i couldn't say it any better god you read my mind dude

So last year's problems were from your old OC and this years problems are from your current OC.

maybe just maybe its the players... or your front office... or maybe just maybe your head coach.

i would start placing blame with culpepper since your last QB avoided sacks, then move to your front office for trading a draft pick for a hurt QB. and if the fins continue to lose games then you have to put some blame on your head coach because he is your head coach and is supposed to have a say in how the team is run.

First if all, who said anything about our OC being our problem early last year? I think all dolphin fans know that Linehan was one of the reasons we were winning late last season. So your flat out wrong about that. Second, he proves a very good point. Face the facts willis is leadin the league in rushing this year without mularkey and didnt have anything with him this time last year. Same situation for brown. Third are you really going to try and tell as that even with his injury you think that ferrotte could avoid the rush better than cpep? You probably didnt watch every game last year like we did but you can tell a big difference between the two lines. Gus had great protection last year. Dont worry about Cpep he will come around. Mark my words!

maybe Gus made it look like your O-line was holding up great because he got rid of the ball before the rush got to him. and now with culpepper, he just holds the ball longer and the rush gets to him more often.

dont get me wrong, i really dont like your O-Line, but i think some of the blame can be put on Culpepper for taking so many sacks. i actually had flashbacks to rob "turf boy" johnson and his inate ability to take a sack every 6 plays.

Are you honestly going to say that. Did you watch a lot of phins games last year? It just sounds like your saying stuff to rag on daunte. Look up the stats on gus. He threw a few deep balls out to chambers and booker. Which he needed time to do. Sure maybe he got rid of the ball faster sometimes, but he definatley had more time to look off his recievers. Just think about it. How often is your #1 reciever open from the start to where you dont have check down. If you watch the games cpep is checking down his recievers and by the time he finds one open hes got pressure. I will tell you one thing though, if you put other QB's in his situation behind our line I guarantee you they would have a couple more int's than 3!(most of those being because the team made themselves one demesional playing catch-up) Lossman being a good example!

I think it starts here and in this particular order:

1) O-Line

2) Mularkey

3) Secondary

Not in any particular order
1) offensive line
- their play has been terrible

2) Daunte Culpepper
- erratic, inconsistent play and his mistakes have hurt the team

3) coaching
- play calling has been questionable
- poor state of preparation at times

4) personnel decisions
- keep plugging in retreads at the OL position, no commitment in the draft
- roster is imbalanced, way too many quality DL compared to OL
- lack of impact from key draft picks (our 1st and 2nd picks each of the last 2 years: Brown, Roth, Allen, Cpep). Quality players? Yeah, maybe, but production is poor

WRONG, THERE IS AN AVALANCHE COMMING AT CULPEPPER EVERY PLAY.

no need to use caps there bud.

maybe there is a avalanche comming at culpepper because he has shown that he takes to long to get the ball off and as a result takes a lot of sacks.

when a QB shows that he cant handle pressure in the pocket, defenses will blitz more and more.

Bingo!

You nailed it!

MM sorry *** doesnt call effective run plays nor passing plays. It is mindblowing that Ronnie only carried the ball about 15 times last week against a poor run defense. And its not like we were losing the whole game or anything. And our passing game wasnt clicking so why go away from the run. Even if it isnt effective the first 15 carries the D weres down and becomes vulnerable later in games. When he does decide to run everyone in the whole freaking place nows its a run play. I saw one nice run call and that was a pitch to Suggs not Brown. Ronnie would have broke that run for even more yards had he had that carry
