Now that Madison is gone, who would be our #1 cb? I think Daniels played well last season but he's only in his 2nd year, or maybe a FA??

Well, IMO we draft a CB in round 1 and we sign a mid-level vet in FA.

I agree, Poole had a pretty good 2004 ( knee injury in 2005).
If I remember correctly, Poole would have been a first-round pick if not for "character" issues. Its all gonna depend on his knee and how well he fits into
Saban's system.

We need to draft a corner in the first round unless by some miracle Jonathan Joseph or the dude from Fresno St. drops to us in the second cuz those are the only bottom of the first round guys i see being able to develop quickly into a real #1 corner.

I can't understand this. Everyone questions Travis Daniels because he is going into his second year, but want to draft a rookie CB to start? I would rather have Daniels starting because he already knows the pace of the NFL. Bringing in a rookie will take time to adjust to the NFL speed.

As of now, I'd give #1 job to Daniels untill Poole proves his injury hasn't effected him.
