Just saw a tweet that said we have up least amount of passing yards in the league to Cam. Though anyone watching the game would know that they didn't need to pass.

This is why stats can be a tad misleading. Let's just hope we get passed on more often

WHY DID THEY TRY TO TACKLE CAM NEWTON HIGH???? WHY???? HE WANTS TO ACT LIKE A RUNNING BACK THEN TREAT HIM LIKE A BIG RUNNING BACK.

Washington has the least yards at 239 and they beat the Eagles pretty comfortably and Atlanta has the 2nd most yards and got trounced at home.

The run defense was a big disappointment, the hesitation on the play fakes really hurt Miami. It's just one game and at least the team managed to hang in there.

Well, considering we are talking about 1 game, against a Pats team known to find an edge, with a QB known to be hard to tackle, on a Dolphin team loaded with new starting players in the front 7, with also some new coaches on the team and in new positions...Maybe this is a bit premature.

Defenses are always ahead of offenses out of the gate unless they just stink. Why are fans using the "it's a new offense excuse" for the performance against the Pats? If anything that hurt the Pats, like it does every team.

A new system which is a 180 degree turn from the old, a new QB, new players all over that Patriots starting lineup, they had no trouble executing. They did exactly what Cam has done his whole career, this wasn't the opening game last year with a novel offense and elite players everywhere.

The Pats have an organizational mentality predicated entirely on adaptability. A few years ago they shifted from Jimmy G running their standard offense against us to an entirely option-based offense with Brissett...all in a week when they didn't know that Brissett was gonna be starting.

I also don't think that offense for the players is actually as different from what they have to do in their existing scheme. And for the key player, it was old hat. Yet for a defense how you defend an option-route based passing game and a power read option offense is pretty different.
