The only way Cutler is going to start is if he plays Madden. Even then he has to unbench himself.
But didn't we know this? were you expecting a resurrection? This team made a grave miscalculation by not prepping for Tannehill not having surgery and getting injured again.
Here is my question. If he had opted for surgery, what do you think they would have done at QB, waiting for RT to come back this month?

How Chicago endured 10 seasons of Jay Cutler is unbelievable. That would be 10 years of inconsistent play, tease you one game only to come back with 2 lousy games. Makes one appreciate Tannehill much more. For me it is Tannehill and a 3rd/4th rounder to be the #2. Moore is too expensive and you can't win with him. So if Tannehill goes down the season is over, but at least with a rookie QB one can see potential.
Cutler wasn’t the problem yesterday. Stupid penalties and poor defense was.
Darn few teams stand a chance when their QB is lost for the season. Mat can get the job done for limited stretches. He is one of the better backups and we have bigger needs.
Draft a DE in the first round that can set the edge and get some sacks. Draft someone like Hayden Hurst or Mark Andrews in the second or Mike G in the third. Somewhere in there grab an OLB that can cover and hope for that Arkansas center to be there for the taking. Grab Sony, the RB from Georgia. He can block and catch, is fast, and has low mileage. A late round FS would be nice. That would allow us to play more 4-2-5 sets.
Lots of needs and only so many draft picks! Still I think we have to get DE, TE, and RB at least in this draft. If a good OC is there in the third or fourth that would be smart. We could certainly use coverage LBers and a real FS IMHO.

How about two costly fumbles by receivers when we were driving the ball. Add settling for FG's on two drives instead of TD's and that is the difference in this game.

the dolphins roster is build to win 6 to 8 game yr. with thill17 or without. if you going draft a qb. I would get the best one and trade thill17...pls move on from cutler as well. you are wasting time. drafting DE,TE yes it sound good but it will take at leased 2 yr before most of these guy are ready play.
