Yes! Brown is gonna be great actually.
As for the undisciplined issue, it's more about the player themselves. I mean come one, Randy had no business showboating...that's not Saban's fault at all. Every player knows that. When you get caught in the heat of the moment, sh*t happens.
 
We also know Gus is not the answer at QB, but he is the best we have for now unfortunately. As a veteran there is no excuse to take 2 sacks at the end of the game like that!
 
I think the team may actually be over-disciplined. Sometimes you can have the guys playing on eggshells too much, and the penalties come from playing on edge, trying too hard not to make a mistake.

Are you kidding me?!!!

When Coach Shula had the Dolphins he had one of if not the most disciplined teams in the NFL. Every year his team was if not the least, certainly in the top 2 least penalized teams in the NFL.

This coach is supposed to be known for his teaching and instilling discipline in his teams. 18 penalties, 4 turnovers, 2 critical turnovers, numerous miss tackles. Every week the same thing, double digit penalties. Even if the team was very good, you can’t have that many penalties and win football games. What ever he (Saban) is doing or not doing he better get a handle on it quick.
 
This offseason, some extreme changes need to happen on our o-line; Saban should be threatening to cut some of those guys right now because they are offsides almost every play!

We will not win more than 7 or 8 games this year if we keep giving the other team 100 FREE YARDS in penalties per game.
