Reshad Jones looks like he's going to try to practice.

Reshad Jones (groin) out for stretching. Don't yet know if he's practicing.

Would you play reshad if he wasn't 100 this week? Is it at the point that where you think long term and sit him out for this game? We're going to get torched anyway... and of course I hope not, but most likely

Game time decision based on how he feels etc - remember Gase has leaned on side of holding players back from injury.

All #Dolphins here & stretching except CB Howard (knee) & TE Cameron (concussion).

I wouldn't risk a long term injury with our top players. I don't see how we have a chance on this game even if everyone was healthy so why risk it? This year it's all about evaluatiing who's going to be here long term and who's not.

DAVIE — Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones was participating at the beginning of practice on Friday and appeared to be running well despite a groin injury.

Jones did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday.

On Thursday, Jones said: “I’m pretty close. We’re just taking it day-to-day. I’m going to do everything I can to be on the field Sunday.”

Jones is sixth in the NFL with 46 tackles, which coach Adam Gase said is actually too many. The Dolphins need other players, particularly defensive linemen, to step up their games.
If Jones is unable to start, Michael Thomas would replace him.

Report: Coates will 'definitely play' Sunday http://tinyurl.com/j4l4j4k

It looked like Coates was trending toward a game-time decision but now it's safe to assume he'll be out there on Sunday. Coming off the game of his life, Coates has another great matchup waiting against the Dolphins' inept secondary. He'll be in the WR3 conversation.

Sure he will its Dolphin week.

Five listed Steelers starters — linebacker Ryan Shazier, defensive end Cameron Heyward, wide receiver Markus Wheaton, safety Shamarko Thomas and right tackle Marcus Gilbert — are out. Heyward is expected to miss at least one more game as well due to a hamstring injury he suffered last week.

With Wheaton out and Coates questionable, the Steelers could promote wide receiver Cobi Hamilton from the practice squad. The team has until 4 p.m. Saturday to make such a move, but may not have to call up a receiver with Eli Rogers set to return after missing the last two games with a toe injury.

Steelers missing 5 starters should even things out a little. Instead of losing 52 to 7 we might make it 41 to 10

It's amazing watching games over the weekend. Good teams have different schemes on both sides of the ball. But one thing in common I noticed is that they are fundamentally good/great tackling teams.

How is possible at the NFL level, under the same training schedule rules etc. That teams can be on opposite sides on defense when it comes to something like tackling?

Is it fundamentals? Is it willingness? Pride? Attitude?

Guess they aren't giving effort like some off the coaches said... did you see that game last night? lots if good clean hits tackling that affected the game. We can't even force/recover turnovers. Where is our next interception coming from?

Yeah it's crazy , problem is we're so worried about stopping the run ( and still not stopping it ) that we can't properly rush the passer , so less inaccurate and forced balls are being put up .

It's just a mess right now man

Gase said Reshad Jones and Arian Foster will be game time decisions.

That's exactly what I was thinking about while watching it. I'm so use to people taking bad angles and missing tackles that when I saw a DB tackle a RB in the open field or LBs put the RB down cleaningly. I swear there was a part of me that couldn't comprehend what I was seeing. WITCH CRAFT!
