I saw an clip of Dez Bryant and how Jerry jones told him he wanted him in the 88 like Pearson and Irvin before him and how he has that feeling he has to live up to the greatness of that number.

Seems like these days the wide receiver stars tend to pick numbers between 10-19 like our own Wallace and Marshall when he was here. Growing up with Marino and the boys I'm kinda partial to 80-89 like our duper/Clayton combo.

What do you prefer?

For some reason I've related the lower numbered WR's as selfish "me first" players. Nothing factual to it of course, and probably off basis, but just a sense I get. I was bummed when Landry picked #14 and maybe he can change that ill perceived notion I have.
