Joe Philbin is dealing with "a personal family matter" today and is not present at practice.

Dolphins rookie linebacker Chris McCain (foot) is not working today.

Rookie O-lineman Billy Turner has a compression sleeve on his left leg and a pretty noticeable limp.

#Dolphins S Jimmy Wilson is practicing for the third straight day. He is expected to return Sunday after missing the past two games.

Looks like the Dolphins will be playing San Diego without Daryn Colledge. Philbin's pretty consistent. If you don't practice you don't play.

It's like one step forward, one step back with the injuries. There goes Hoops idea of getting Turner on the file with Sims out.

#Dolphins rookie WR Jarvis Landry on winning AFC Special Teams Player of the Month: "There is no time to celebrate and no time to relax."

Chris McCain said earlier that despite not practicing today, he expects to be fine for Sunday's game vs. Chargers.

At least most of these injuries are not season ending like a lot of other teams are going through. We have a few like Moreno and Ellerbe but some teams are really getting killed this year. Sounds like Misi will be back, and that is a good thing, but Sims is a big loss. Colledge might find out he has been replaced when he comes back if Thomas keeps improving.

Is Clay still nursing something?

I don't think so, he had his jersey on and I don't think he has the breast to handle something like that.... :)

John Jerry on the other hand.... :idk:

True, you can't expect to have everyone stay healthy, just not realistic.
Whether Misi can go and actually play the whole game is probably still 50/50 I would think.

Chargers rookie CB Jason Verrett diagnosed with a torn labrum, source says. Plan is to revisit it after the bye. He wants to play through it

#Chargers CB Jason Verrett (shoulder) is out 2-3 weeks. Will look at surgical options after the season. See if inflammation goes down now.

Lets hope Thomas shines in this opportunity and shows he was built for LG. Would solve a issue going forward. I actually think he can succeed there.

Hope Misi can play, I love is reaction to plays, no hesitation and sound tackler. Trusnik, waits for the play to completely unfold, doesn't trust his eyes and has no instincts.

And when he does decide to move it's like pouring refrigerated honey.
