Chambers- Not a top 10 WR. Drops too many easy ones
McMichaels- Cant block, most inconsistant player on team plus he is never there in key moments.
Williams- I am glad he is back and think he will dominate but he still needs to prove it.
Booker- Solid. Wasn't overly impressive but solid none the less.
Brown- Rookie hasn't done anything yet.
Boston- Coming off of season ending injry. Still not 100%
Thomas- LOL- Not an elite LB'er nor does he make that big play we need him to. Vanishes in the 4th quarter.
Taylor- Arguably top 3 DE in the league.
Carter- Switching back to DT. Who knows how he will do.
Madison- he is now the #1. He got burned plenty as the #2 plus he is obviously declining.
Sculters- The unknown. New team and new system.

Listen the fact is simple. I predict a 11-5 season, but some of you are being childish. Taylor is the only player on our team that is in the top 3 at his position. Other then that not one othe player is an elite.

New OC AND DC. New HC. 3 NEW starters on the O-line, 1 switching positions. Rookie RB to be the #1.

There is plenty of reasons for these experts to say we won't be good.

I don't agree with their assessment. But i am not a blind homer and realize he is absolutely right. Right now we dont have "Great parts"

Too many unknowns. New schemes. Inconsistancy with our offensive threats. New players.

The only sure "great part we have is Jason Taylor.

I still predict a 11-5 season but some of you are just completely blind with homerism lol

remember when dan found out adam sandler used saulsbury (sp?) as a qb coach teaching him how to throw the football for filming of longest yard dan said "saulsbury?? saulsbury couldn't hit the ocean if he was standing on the beach".

I disagree with you. RW is a top RB. How many Patriots players are top 3 at their positions? Exactly. It is a team game. How many of Phillys players are top 3 at their positions? Exactly

Heads up!!

They will be bringing you a camp report, they said "there are some serious mixed emotions going on in TC over RW". I don't know about that, all I've read is some players will hold their trust till Ricky proves himself. But nobody having issues with Ricky. Anyways it's coming up!!

i saw it this morning, its nothing that we dont already know mostly, it includes the press conference where ricky said hes not back to original form and he looks to the future and not to get back to the past, that is if its the same thing that was showed this morning

Guys relax and take a deep breath. Now that we feel better, think about what GRYPHONK Said in his oiganal post, go re-read it if you have to, digest it and think some more on it. He is absolutly right. The Phins were not a good team and until they prove everyone wrong, We as fans have to put up with the "Professionals" saying were are not a good team. I hope we pull a Chargers, but till we win and go to the playoffs we will have to get over ourselvs and deal with the critics. We have some nice players that either are on the decline or have yet to fully prove themselves.

Philly and NE both have a few things in common. A great HC, A star caliber QB, a amazing offensive line. They have stability. NE has lost quite a bit on defense which is why they will suffer a bit they have new DC AND OC.

The key is stability and in the eyes of these analysts we don't have any as of yet.

I care more about a heaping pile of cow crap then anything you write!!!

Exactly, cause u know I am right.

LOL

Pathetic!!!

So u must really like cow crap since u responded so quickly to my response that u don't care about.

LOL

Whatever continue to be blind, narrowminded and biased.

Me, I will continue to cheer on my team. Expect them to be an 11-5 team like I keep saying. But also realize there are alot of question marks with our team right now and not get mad just because an analyst is pointing out obvious question marks with our team.:goof:

Exactly.

I am not dissing our team. They just have yet to pull it together.

For years all some fans could do is give excuses, whether Wanny, Fiedler, the O-line etc....

The fact is we were an unbalanced team that was developed to win through defense. The strategy failed because our defense wasn't big enough to last through a full season of that.

Now we have so much potential. We have what looks to be an amazing WR core. Our O-line is looking great so far. Our defense is looking to be a beast. Mare is back in form..

All we are is potential and until game day all people or analysts are gonna do is harp on Ricky being back on the team and all the negatives. It's common sense really.

No.....you think you're right and I think you're wrong and why I care more about the heapig pile of cow dung!! Your "knowledge" isn't knowledge, but a pearson trying to act like you know what you're talking about and failing miserably.

LOL true!!!

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion.

One thing is for sure it will be a fun season.

Has nothing to do with trying to act like anything. It is an unbiased opinion.

Too many people on this site just say Feeley sucks, the team is great etc.... But that is all they say., They don't give a reason or explination.

So if me actually having an unbiased opinion and actually explaining my opinion means I am acting like a "Knowledgable fan" then so be it.

I still think u need to learn some comprehension skills though lol:goof:

In all serious though. Feelthepain? Why does it matter what the commentators think? Honestly? U know the phins are the best. None of them predicted the Chargers to win. None of the predicted teh Ravens to win. None of them predicted the Bucs to win.

The playoff teams get the hype while the bad teams get the critiscism till they win.

It's nothing new. You and I both know that we are a playoff team despite the question marks.

So is it really necissary to gripe at the analysts and then bicker with a fellow fan just because he sees (although once again doesn't agree, which u seem to keep missing that point) why the analysts say what they say?

WHATEVER. At that Friday practice at Dolphins' stadium, he was running fast and looking good..when he was on the sideline, guys were cool with him and he was talking to some players. Everything looked alright to me. Even the FANS were screaming out RIcky!!

While I do agree with you here is my answer to your question re top 3 players.

New England

Brady
Veniteri (sp?)
Seymour

Philly
Maybe McNabb (although after the pathetic ending to the SB I don't know)
T.O.

Dolphins
JT
Ricky 2 years ago

So, I guess I agree with your even more. :D
It is a team game.

Look at Indy.
Top 3 Players at their postition
Manning
Harrison
Edge (was and still close imo)
Freeney
Stockley (has to be one of the best 3rd recievers, over 1000 yds and 10 TDs)
O Line may have some top players (not sure on that one)

Anyway, point is, they probably have more top players than NE but can't beat them.

Good coaching and team chemistry play an EXTREMELY important role in this game.

Hopefully NICK can take us to the next level.

You mean Salisbury actually played? I know he was in the NFL, but I figured he was a bench warmer. Oh well, doesn't give him the knowledge to say whatever he wants. Besides, his opinion doesn't decide the Dolphins record. None of them do
