Excellent article. Great picture of McCain in action too! They kinda overdid the intro, but the player analysis is spot on. All of those battles are real. The only thing they didn't mention is that some of those veterans will likely re-negotiate their salaries down in light of what does or doesn't happen this year. Contracts are general starting points ... not iron-clad binary light switches. Think of them as a player's choice whether to offer a dimmer switch or not.
