Apr 26, 2018; Arlington, TX, USA; Minkah Fitzpatrick (Alabama) with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after being selected as the number eleven overall pick to the Miami Dolphins in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft at AT&T Stadium. Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Much depends on the health and quality of play from quarterback Ryan Tannehill, but the Dolphins are well positioned for at least modest improvements in 2018 from their 6-10 record. Even though they let Ndamukong Suh go, they did well to focus on the defensive line, most prominently replacing him with Robert Quinn in a trade with the Rams. They also brought in Josh Sitton to shore up the offensive line. Minkah Fitzpatrick could be one of the better first round picks for any team, too. Tannehill is the question mark, but if he performs well, Miami has an outside shot at the playoffs.

1 thing I have yet to hear mentioned by any of the “experts” is that we made the playoffs in 2016. They act like this team hasn’t seen the playoffs since 2004 or something.

It's not a ringing endorsement but I'll take it.

Nonsense. Miami will be 2-50. That isn’t possible but that’s still what they’ll be. Doom and gloom experts!

Damn right Miami will be better. If the number is 8, I'll take the over.

Anyone with a decent understanding of football can pick 10 teams that could be poised for a big turnaround.
I'll say this is my 10
Giants
Bucks
Denver
Browns
Dolphins
49 's
Chargers
Raiders
Bengals
Packers.

We only made the playoffs twice in almost 20 years bruh...

these posts are pointless like others pointed out. If any team that had a down year can be a considered a big "turnaround" like Green Bay, or the Giants is not too far on the limb to climb on....lol

You can't say any team underperformed if their starting qb was missing. Throw in guys like McMillan and lippett and you really have no benchmark that sets the tone
