10 Reasons Why the Dolphins actually make sense for 2012's Hard Knocks

#1 should have been that 27 other teams passed it on and the choice came down to jax or Miami:lol:(relax, it's all in fun).

All I've found is this:

Several teams, including the Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins, have declined to be featured, according to USA Today.

Apparently the Jets refused when they were told the show would called "Drama Queens season 2."

Some of the teams that "refused" had actually put their own names forward as possibilities, and the refusal came during the negotiations stage of the process. In other words, they didn't feel their conditions ($$$) were met. I've heard that was the way of things with the Falcons.

That's way too much logic. Junc's head might explode trying to comprehend it. Let him have his blind hate. It's all he's good at.

I read a while back the NYJ really wanted to do it again it but HBO actually declined them. I'm too lazy to dig up a link but its out there.

yes, they got the best ratings they ever had, the jets had their much publicizes issues last year and added Tim Tebow but HBO declined the Jets:lol:

after the jets season and rex's big mouth last year, i can see him saying "no f'ing way" to another go round.

the jets suck just get over it. we've owned them in the Rex era and your Superbowl drought is longer than ours, not to mention your afc championship drought is laughable. the jets just suck period pretty much. dolphins will be on hard knocks, it will do well, just as the jets on hard knocks did well and was entertaining.

Despite his smug response, he is right. But the way I heard it, it was HBO who wanted the Jets and Tennenbaum (is that the owner?) wanted to do it but Rex didn't. And even though I hate the Jets, it was fun to watch.

Tannenbaum is the GM, Woody Johnson is the owner. Obviously HBO wanted the Jets, I expect they will do it next season.
