This season marks the 10th year that coach Shula has not walked the sidelines.
Where has all the time gone? In twenty six seasons, we've gone to known only one coach, but in the past ten, we've got to know four. Seems like only yesterday that coach Shula was doing his thing. I'am sitting here watch a game from 1985 and seening a thin and fit Shula made me think, that was twenty years ago. BTW the game I'am watching is against the Jets and The Jets scored with 1:06 left in the 4th, but some guy named Marino brought the Dolphins back to win.

i wonder what things would be like if he would have just stayed one more year. Jimmy Johnson may not have been around a year later to be hired. we may have ended up with a different coach who stuck around longer. then we never would have had the likes of Wanny anywhere near the organization. maybe we could have had a coach that wouldn't have wasted several seasons destroying the team.

but then again, we wouldn't have Saban now either.

The Dolphins vs Redskins '83 Super Bowl is on NFL Network now bringing back the memory of the Shula days.

Forget Wanny, who wants the likes of JIMMY JOHNSON!

Long live Shula! He will always be thought of reverantly in my eyes.
