yeah, i'm shaking my pom poms for aj. he won't look downfield. and please stop gunning the ball when the receiver is 2 yards away.

The name calling and stereotyping seems quite childish.

Tis better the world believe you're a fool then to open your mouth and prove them right.

LOL first it is ".........then to open your mouth and remove all doubt" j/k I know you said the same thing.

Secondly namecalling? Funny never saw you call anyone childish for calling Feeley supporters names like Huggers or lovers. Why is that? Cause now you are being labeled?

Fact is teh lines were drawn last year, both sides have contributed to this.

There are only TWO since yesterday and one was ABOUT Feeley...

Yea and did you notice that it wasn't a negative thread? I'm supporting Gus and I've made one thread about Feeley and it was started as a positive one.

WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG... On every media outlet... reported almost daily on the NFL network was in jeapordy of even NOT MAKING THE ROSTER. I dont know where you get your information. I dont know where you base all the AJ IS A SUPERHERO GOD stuff.

AJ has had the POOREST preseason of all QB on the roster.
Im all for the BEST QB POSSIBLE. But its dangerous to assume that whoever starts our team wont be lead by a legitamte QB. Just a lousy backup. Either AJ.. or GUS

AJ has had the poorest preseason? Only in a biased perspective. Gus played last nite against 2nd team defense in teh third quarter and did sh*t. AJ has had an overall better preseason than Gus. Not by much factoring in playing against second string defenses. But Gus plain suked against first team defenses. Aj wasnt horrible against Chicago, he had a drop and a spike to avoid a sack. Other than those two he had played well. He only atempted 7 passes, 2 others were sacks. Not exactly playing like sh*t.

No matter what excuse you throw out, doesnt make it true.

I'll get this out of the way since it's going to be posted anyway, "He was playing against 2nd stringers" -- Don't get me wrong, I think he did well, it's just that it's inevitable that somebody is going to post that.

But he was playing with the second unit, He didn't have starters blocking for him or running the ball. And who caught his TD pass was it Chambers or Booker??? I don't think so.

I don't get people here, you act like AJ is on another team and doesn't deserve your support. Or if you like AJ Gus is on another team. Does it really matter who starts? Honestly people, you're rooting for the fins not the individuals. I'm glad the competition is close, it makes the QB's want it more and they try harder. Thats good for the team. Unlike some teams that just give the job to a player and then they have to back pedal when that player doesn't get the job done (Bills-Losman)!!

Saban is trying to teach team effort, maybe the fans should learn it aswell.

WRONG AGAIN... YOU INSULTS ARE IRITATING. Adam Schefter from NFL network, said AJ was in trouble of missing the cut. cole from the Herald also said it....
You love for him is so blind its humorous. AJ is crap.. Gus is crap...Face it.

Cole said it? Shefter? Funny, never heard Saban say it. If he was considering cutting AJ, wouldnt he have given Sage more of a shot the last 2 weeks? I havent seen anything on Brock playing the last 2 weeks? Doesnt seem liek a situation where you can say AJ was in any trouble. Course Cole would never let a personal bias enter into anything he said right? Nah he would NEVER do that! :shakeno:

And I watch Total Access all teh time, I have it as a season pass on TIVO and never heard him say that. But hey provide teh link, I would love to read it.

It was when he was wrapping up his QB Carrousel for training camp. I think he used it in the context of if Rohan Davey got cut. Believe me, he may have been dead wrong but he said it. He said he could end up 2 or 3 or off the team.

i dont care whos the qb it can be Matt Turk just please please not AJ

Here it is.

THE MEN OF MIAMI
No team in football has more questions at quarterback than the Dolphins. For now, Gus Frerotte has won the starting job. A.J. Feeley is fighting for the No. 2 spot, but he also might be fighting for a roster spot. Sage Rosenfels seems assured of the No. 3 spot, but undrafted free agent Brock Berlin has a 95.5 quarterback rating this summer, the highest of any quarterback on the Dolphins roster

He did? I thought AJ made a nice pass on 3rd and 21, and farmer made guy miss at teh three and hop into teh endzone. Yes Farmer made a good move to get in, but that soesnt change teh fact the pass was right on teh money under sign pressure. He also threw deep for a td but was out of bounds, no not a great pass, but wasnt behind him, nor under or overthrown. It was accurate but to teh wrong side, receiver didnt have to break stride. He also threw some nice 8 to 14 yd passes. You dont throw 40 yds every time. The bomb to McMike wasnt 30 in teh air, it was an approx 15 yd pass that McMike ran for another approx 15.

Guskateers, keep that faith.

Brilliant!!! So by your logic, if AJ out performs all others you'd rather have a punter playing QB than AJ. Talk about biased. :shakeno:

WTF?? He isn't name calling, he is just quoting the self imposed name of the Gus fans who came up with it here.

Are you just a little defensive?

Fact is AJ has outplayed Gus this preseason overall, and should be the starter. If Gus wasn't Linehan's hand picked boy, AJ would be starting.

Neither has shown brilliance, but AJ, as always, shows he can make the big plays, and he has a fire that Gus just does not have.

Listen...

At the begining of the year, I wanted AJ to start because when I thought AJ i thought win over the Patriot's. Personally, when i look at both quarterbacks in the game, I can see that Gus has a great feel for the offense. I had been an AJ supporter and now I support Gus. This is not based soley on numbers, this is also based on what a quarterback should be doing in an offense (not staring at one reciever).

AJ and Gus are both equal, they both suck.

Let it go. He played well.. under no pressure and against 2nd/3rd stringers.

Some guys here just don't understand what it takes to be a QB in this league.
