Ja'Wuan James and Rishard Matthews are again missing in action.

Devante Parker is indeed working with the starters in Rishard Matthews' place

You know what I love about this picture? Tannehill is taking the snap from under center. :woot:

I think that may have also contributed to Lazor's release, the fact that he kept the new center snapping from the gun when it was obvious it was not working. Just a thought maybe had nothing to do with it but it crossed my mind and reminded me how stubborn Lazor was as OC.

Pouncey and Albert are both practicing is very good news..

Wow that would be a trip if Tannehill can turn this season around and begin putting up points with this tweaked system.

Figure out a way to RUN the football.

So what then? We just put the qb DIRECTLY behind center then just have him snap it, turn and hand it off to somebody else that's faster and is trained to run the ball instead of throw it? Yeah that makes SOOOOO much sense. ... ;)

Lazor defined stubborn. Just think back to the games against the Titans and the Texans. We had offensive mojo for both games. Tannehill took more snaps under center, we ran between the tackles, and we ditched the gimmicky passing game. Then it was like Lazor forgot what he was doing and went back to all of the things that didn't work.

During the Titans game, Campbell was high-fiving Lazor. The last 3 games have been filled with Campbell looking at the field in disbelief.

Wouldn't that make you change your opinion on Tannehill? I think the offense really held him back. Having no input and being unable to audible

As opposed to doing the same thing out of the shotgun? Not sure of the point you are trying to make.

The Jets game showed us a lot about our coaches (especially Lazor's) inability to adapt and adjust in a game. Does anyone think for one second that if the Patriots center went down and they were forced to put in a guy who has never in his career snapped a football in a game they would continue to call Shotgun plays when the guy can't get the ball to the quarterback? After 2 times Brady would have been under center the rest of the game in that case.

#Dolphins HC Dan Campbell said the plan right now is for new OC Zac Taylor to call plays from the sidelines on Sunday, not the booth.

Campbell on run game, "would like a balanced offense...ideally would like 50% run & 50% pass"
