Our front office has stated several times they would bring someone to push Chad Henne.

Then when John Elway asked too much for Kyle Orlon, who has been a not-so-great starter, Jeff Ireland opted for another failed starter of 2010, former Carolina Panthers' QB: Matt Moore.

With him, our depth chart at QB was: Chad Henne #7, Matt Moore # 8, Pat Devlin # 9 & Tom Brandstater #3. That set of players looked as one of the weakest in the league, and unexpected help came from Dolphins 12th player.

No, even when some beat-writers have talked about a desperate situation in Miami, Dolphins never required Bob Griese, their most successful QB to wear at his well-lived 66 years his legendary number 12. NO WAY!

Under some sports like soccer number 12 is a common reference to the home crowd.

Everyone of this fanbase got furious of the weak outlook of the most important position in the roster and manifested their frustration by booing on Henne during training camps. This went weird to the point that some pseudo-fans chanted "We want Orton". Such reaction made Sparano sick, but perhaps this is serving in a good way, as #12 is pushing Chad Henne to upgrade his game.

It's still too early but since then, Chad Henne has been playing better and better.

During Sunday's practice this evolution was notorious with 3 TD/1 INT against one of the top defenses of the league. That placed happy faces even on the biggest critics of this offensive unit.

Those beat-writers that guided the mob with torches to Chad Henne are expressing a good feeling on him, mentioning a signal of flourishing leadership, as Henne stated about the connection with Brandon Marshall showed today: "During previous practices, we weren’t on the same page. We talked before practice, and we got it done today."

So yeah, it was just a practice, it was a limited defense that hasn't allowed to destroy the QB, but this offensive unit has been suffering for years with few TD, and lots of SACKS & INT, practicing against this great defense under similar situations.

So I hope our 12th player continues pushing Chad Henne, asking him to be a better quarterback every single day. :hclap:

I'm sure it was the fans booing him that made him lead voluntary player practices during the lockout and want to become a better leader and qb, not his own drive.

Needless to say, the aforementioned post is pretty baseless.

I'm out of the epicenter, but the apparent progression made me express good feelings. So if the earthquake was terrible or was just a lamp moving in the street, share your point of view.

Or

Henne put in the extra work during the off season and has been working hard to improve knowing last year wasn't good enough.

He's finally taking the leadership role like a Pennington and with all his new weapons has a chance to be pretty good.

NAAAAAAAAA it was the losers booing him at practice. That MUST be it.

~~~ GOOOO FINS ~~~
Sugar coat it any way you want, but the fans were a pathetic embarrassment last Monday.
I was there and it wasn't as bad as it was made out to be...relax.. There was another fan who was yelling at Jason Taylor about being a traitor etc. Now that was an embarrassment.
"12th player", my d**k!!! What a load of drivel.
If Henne does indeed get better and ANYONE in this freakin forum suggests that it's because of the drivel of S*** that fans have been giving him, I'm going to puke all over the keyboard
Henne sucks.
In all seriousness, the "12th man" will only show if Henne brings them. If Henne wins games, fans will show.
maybe
there maybe some truth in this. henne needs to be pushed. i would hve not chanted that bs but why all of a suden is he moving the ball and hooking up with the beast. if he can keep improving and our o line can keep him on his feet..... the skys the limit.... GO PHISH!!!!
This is typically what I expect from all the Henne haters: when Henne starts to play really well figure out a way to let everyone know that they saw it coming or how it's because everything else around him. Most "homers" just want to see what Henne can do with a healthy o-line, a run game and an OC that actually understands what it takes to win in this century!
Why do you say the same thing in every thread? We get the point, you think Henne sucks.
I wish everyone would understand what i mean when i say "henne sucks". But there are still those hopeless beings that think he has a chance.
That's horse sh*t.
If a QB needs fans acting idiotic (aka booing) to finally start performing, then he has no business playing QB in the NFL.
Henne is practicing better now because he spent all off season learning the play book and working with his teammates.
