Has anyone else noticed that we have only allowed 12 sacks, thats the 5th best in the leauge. And Ronnie and Ricky are getting great holes. While still not a great line, this (along with Ronnie) has to be one of the best things right now about the season.
 
Houck is doing a great job

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Linehan has to formulate a great strategy to OUR players. Not Minny players.
But I was thinking the entire game how well the line was playing. They are really a secondary thought nowadays... which is unusual lately.
 
Houck has really worked his magic with our OL this year. The first couple of games was kind of bad by the OL, but then they started to develope chemistry with each other and R&R are finding good holes to run through.
 
Guys, part of that is Ronnie and McMichael staying back to help block. I think our line played a splendid game on Sunday, but they havn't been good all year. Their stat is a product of keeping guys home to help.

Yeah, i've been surprised about the sucess on the line. In the past few years, our team has had a shakey line. Did anyone see that the Falcons never sacked, rushed or hit Gus on sunday? He has such great protection and can still find no open WR.
 
Not only have we given up only 12 sacks but we have also gotten 24 sacks on defense and we also havent allowed a 300 yard passer in 38 consecutive games. All of those stats are very impressive.
 
Other than the penalties the O-line has played well.
 
As bad as the line wase last year to be playing as well as we are now after only half a season is incredible, Huack may have been our bigest off season acquisition.
