That is the combined score of our 4 games vs the Jets and Bills this year... Two middle of the road teams with pedestrian quarterbacks. We allowed 34 and change ppg and scored 16 and change ppg. This, needless to say, is pitiful beyond words.

This post is for those of you thinking that this team is "close" to competing. I get that the coaching has been horrendous, but the talent on our roster is massively overrated on this board as well.
We're a little above average at QB, pretty good at WR, pretty good at RB, and pretty awful everywhere else... Besides Suh and Reshad Jones.
Sorry folks, we're in rebuilding mode for about, what, the 5th time in 15 years? Sweet.
 
That is why this offseason the culture must change to a physical, blue collar approach. It is why I am wondering if a Doug Marrone might be a great choice as the HC. His Bills teams dominated the Jets. He could snag a DC like Jim Schwartz OR if Mike Pettine is fired, he might be a choice.

The team has to get tougher.

Sorry, but you haven't watched football for nearly as long as fans like me.
Your analysis lacks depth and understanding of team sports.

This 100%. I made a post before the season about how we needed to run the ball more this year because of a variety of reasons, but our YPC has been high and Lazor's game plan was way too damn pass happy... But what the hell do I know? **** me, right?

I'm sorry but wouldn't that also mean that the opposing team also scored extra points/touchdowns after the game was out of reach? If you aren't going to consider that then the whole "garbage time" stats when comparing teams / players is absolutely dumb.
 
I put too much hope into Suh making the players around him better, especially the LBs but they have been pretty bad from the start.
 
I'm not concerned. We are sure to drop NE 80-6 and even things out.

Marrone also left his team and organization with seemingly little warning. Not sure if you can trust a coach like that for the long hall.

No...empty stats are those that don't correlate to a win...if the game was close and they were trading score...understandable, but to do so when the game is already so far out of hand is an "empty gesture"...

Kind of like the whole "moral win"
