Absolutely. Unless Miami can find a mid-tier starter in free agency. Right now, it's Kohou, Bonner, Smith and Duck competing for a spot opposite Ramsey.

I did mean to list Helm with the Flex TE's. He has the size to play Y, but he's probably the worst blocket of the draftable TE's. Still, he's an excellent receiver and excellent after the catch - easy mover, loose hips.

Testing pending, I'd probably slot him in a tier somewhere between Fannin Jr and Gadsden II.

So Taylor I like because I think he's well rounded and might have the most room to grow. Capable of blocking, can run, reliable hands. Can add strength and get better across the board but I think he's a good prospect.

Helm, it's easy to fall in love with the size, athletic ability for the size, and despite it not being great, there are good blocking reps on tape and we all know TEs take a much time to develop as any position. I think he's capable of being a complete Y, at some point.

Miami would be best served to at least upgrade the Y position because it was a big problem last year and is very important to the run game. With that said, I'm completely on board with Jackson Hawes. He's not going to give much in pass game but neither does Hill. An upgrade there is imperative.

I'm not against doubling down with Helm or Taylor and Hawes.

One other thought, I wonder what it would take to get Michael Mayer from LV.

Last thought, if Miami is solely worried about 2025 you probably go get a vet and take Hawes if he makes it to Round 6? 7? But I'm personally tired of that. Was thrilled with Jonnu signing but a ton of young talent we've passed on in last few drafts and this class has talent. Tired of missing out on it
 
13. TE Tyler Warren - How are defenses going to defend this offense especially if we keep Tyreek.

48. OG Donovan Jackson - Hopefully we sign a FA OG.

98. S Andrew Mukuba - Hopefully we sign a FA S.

115. DE Jared Ivey - He could make Chubb expendable.

135. DT JJ Pegues - I would have addressed DT earlier but didn't like my options.

151. DB Tommi Hill - We should sign a FA DB.

156. LB Jay Higgins - We should sign a FA LB.

226. WR Ja'Corey Brooks - We need better WR depth.

233. OG Connor Colby - We need better OL depth.

252. RB Jarquez Hunter - We need 3 RB's anyway and he averaged 6.4 YPC in the SEC.

If indeed he is then so be it, it means the future is bright at the position and we have one more year of Grier and that’s it
 
Jeanty, Abdul carter and Miami tight end Arroyo will not compete at the combine
