14 playoff teams?

aight seriously i think this would be the stupidest idea in the whole entire world. i mean i dont know if we would have made the playoffs last year if it was like this but i mean i love the way the playoffs are i really dont like the idea of adding more teams. i always thought the nfl had the best playoff system, the most fair playoff system. the division winners and then two wild card teams its perfect the way it is. what does every1 else think?

Another topic that will be raised – once again – is the possibility of raising the number of playoff teams from 12 to 14. Yeah it was posted in the General Forum, I think. The Bucs are also proposing Instant Replay for all penalties. Can you believe that?

instant replay for all penalties meaning that all penalties are reviewable, not that every disputed play actually gets reviewed. that means when you can review a holding call or an offsides, etc. i'm assuming. this wouldn't be a bad thing. just ask seattle how they would feel about it.

I agree, that the current format is good and does not need to be changed. From what I read, the KC Chiefs are the team that is always bringing up this issue and the rest of the league shoots it down.

i think 14 teams is a wonderful idea. Now that you have 4 divisions there are teams who will have a better recorsd than some division winners and not make the playoffs.

Only one team would get a bye instead of two. One more NFL playoff game to watch.....damn that would suck!!!!! LOL
