I remember reading an article somewhere in the preseason talking about Miami spending gobs of money ($150 mil) on this o-line. Why then is there so much pressure on Henne? Why is there seldom a hole up the middle? And why in the hell does Jake Long give a little chip shot to a defender and then watch as he runs right by him?!?!?!?!??!

Because Ross is getting ripped lol. No but seriously... a lot of it is playcalling and audibles. No O-line can stop an all out blitz. It appears that our audible when a play doesn't work is just a HB Dive.

Simple we have a guy calling the plays that likes to run 1 wr 2 and 3 te sets. Defense puts 9 in the box and brings the house. Not to mention whatever receiver we put out there does not scare the defense. His boneheaded play calls put us in 2nd/3rd and long. Then what do we do? Two tight ends split out wide and try 5 and 7 step drops.

It also looks like he spends the first 2 drives deciding what offensive identity of the is!

Wrong, our audible when we don't like what we see on defense is call a time out. We do it so often Henne did it out of habit today when we didn't have any left!?!

This line will gel. It's their first year playing with Thomas and Grove fulltime. Their contracts are setup so we have them for the next 5 years. I like what I see so far, especially in the run game.

I heard 150 was gauranteed.. I also heard that since we've been so good in the running game, that will factor into the escalators and could be up to 180+!!!

We still aren't where we need to be, we aren't running it up the middle like I like, to much outside wildcat stuff, IMO, we're best going between the tackles, we got a power running game, not a flashy bounce outside one.

Henning needs to go. 1 wr sets suck esp when the wr isnt a threat to the D.

We have got most of our yards and scores when a guard pulls outside and Ricky or Ronnie go around the outside. Rarely do we run between the middle for more than 2-3 yards. I see plenty of other teams do it but we cannot. To me, we keep running outside it works a lot more often then trying to go between the tackles!

This OL is terrible at pass blocking. It's simple.

And pass blocking starts w. your left tackle. Which just happens to be the horrid part of Long's game.

Terrible.

The offensive line is terrible. Period. There's not much more you can say about it.

You'd think there would be some sort of U of Michigan chemistry left between those two! LOL!

I blame Henning his play calls sets the entire offense up to fail!

Simple, this $150M O-Line is atrocious in pass protection. They're one of the best run blocking units, but have to be one of the worst pass protection units in the league. For 150 million ****ing dollars they better learn to protect Henne real ****ing quick.

Seriously....when they stop our RBs up the middle for the tenth time in a row can we call a new play?

My favorite is running up the middle on the first or second play in the 2 minute drill! I love that play lets see hmmmm 2nd and 1o lets call Ricky through the B gap. I could just imagine him calling that play to Marino!
