0 td 0 int. Those aren't bad numbers at new england for a quarterback making fith career start. People should not blame henne. Ya he made a mistake with the time out that will never happen again. He's still learning. He did not cost us the game. I don't under stand people blaming him. This is the best young QB we've had since Dan.

There was quite a few dropped passes. This loss isn't his fault.

I would really like to know. How may passes our wideouts have dropped in the 5 henne starts and how many dropped passes the other teams had in those 5 games drop. I bet its over 2 to 1.
I think henne is playing well. The kid needs some help.

You cant blame Henne for any of our losses so far. Sure he missed some throws, but all qb's do. Our wr's miss way more then their share of catchable balls. How many yards would Henne have put up if his wr's could actually catch the ball.

25 of 32 which is what he should of been sounds so much better!!! This WR corp is a joke!!! 2 dropped passes on the final drive!!! It should of been 1st and 10 with 40 yards to go who knows what would of happened...I swear Henne would look exactly like brady if you give the dude some legit WR just 1!!!! ****

Henne shouldn't take any blame for this loss.

Blame is on our pass rush and our ****ty WRs

Henne has been fine. No reason to put him down, but no reason to pump him up either. Til he gets some consistency catching the ball it's not fair to say we know what he can do.

I know he's got the physical skills - I want to see the smarts. I want to see the little things (like not calling a timeout when you don't have any), reading blitzes and making audibles, etc. It's the stuff that makes the greats great. As ridiculous as it is that we went so long without a QB with a decent enough arm, it's not a big deal to have one.

So far, I like that he's not making huge game-changing mistakes - he's playing smart, if a bit conservatively. But that's what he ought to be doing right now.

I don't think many people with a clue blame Henne.

If they do, you are wasting your time even considering those people's opinions.

I continue to be impressed with Henne. I was not high on the pick but he has proved me wrong. We have our new franchise QB.

The more I think about it the more I come to the conclusion that our biggest problem is rotating receivers way to much. I have never seen a team shuttle receivers like we do. This is negative because it doesn't allow Henne or the receivers to get in a rythem. I think Derdorff said it best when he was signing off " until Miami gets a vertical passing game they are not going to win big football games." This statement could never be more true, look at all the best teams in the NFL and they all throw vertical many times a game. We didn't throw vertical 1 time.

Question - Is Parcells too stubborn to admit you need a dangerous vertical game to win in today's NFL?

I actually feel pretty bad for Henne. He has really no receivers to work with and the ones he does have, can't catch the football. Henne hits his targets in the hands and they still drop it. What else is he supposed to do? Parcells better get out of the mind set that a star receiver is not needed. The guys we have are not cutting it. Camarillo, Bess and Hartline are nice receivers, but they probably shouldn't be starters.

While Henne hasn't played great, , he's made a few mistakes like the Timeout debacle today, but overall he has played well for a young QB. His #s would be a lot better if he had receivers that could actually consistently get open and catch the ball.

I'd give Henne a B for todays performance. He definitely improved getting rid of the ball compared to last week when he held it too long taking sacks. Calling timeout with none left concerned me a little bit. He should be aware of those critical items like game time remaining, play clock, down and distance, timeouts left, etc. Feel bad though on his last drive two drops on good thrown balls.

I hated when Pennington went down but on the bright side we are getting to see if Henne has what it takes. So far, I like what I've seen from him.

I will say this again. I am VERY afraid of us setting back Henne's maturation process because of this wideout corp.

How anyone can fault Henne today given the magnitude of what he was facing (NE in NE as well as what could be our season on the line) and yet he didn't give our game away by making typical rookie mistakes, is beyond me.

Henne IMO, has done everything the team has asked of him thus far. The pick 6 against SD is a wash because he never practiced that week. The one to Sharper wasn't even a true td. I forget the other one he threw.

Henne can only do so much. He has delivered catch-able balls to all of his wide-outs for the vast majority of time. However, they are not making the catches. To be fair though, we don't have a true number one and really a true number 2 either.
