Former Miami Dolphins running back and 1966 team MVP Joe Auer, now co-owner of Competitive Edge Motorsports, hopes his driver, Mike Garvey, can create the same level of excitement for his new team in the upcoming NASCAR Busch Series race at Nashville Superspeedway that Auer did when he returned the opening kickoff for a 95-yard touchdown in the first game of the Miami Dolphins’ inaugural season in the AFL.
