Go to AG.NFL.COM and check the Blue Ribbon ranking for the 1972 Dolphins. I can't wait to watch the #1 episode on NFL network.

Look at this pic:

It was a nice piece. I have it Tivoed and will be watching it alot. I didn't realize Manny Fernandez was such a force and a great
joker too.

Watched it, great stuff. The Dolphins got the respect they deserved after not getting it previously on some other best team of all time senarios. The NFL network is also replaying the entire tv broadcasts of many Super Bowls. They are able to play a lot of programming that ESPN couldn't.

WTF? I tried to purchase the episode on Itunes and out of the 20 teams that are featured, only the episode for the #1 team (the Dolphins) is unavailable. What's up with that? One more thing. Why in the world did the Dolphins, after winning EVERY single game on their schedule in the regular season, have to play ON THE ROAD to get to the Superbowl? That was a seriously messed up system back then but only goes to show how good these guys were as a team.

i'm pretty sure i heard it was because homefield advantage alternated between teams back then, it had nothing to do with their record.

I also watched the CBS episode on it, the *72 team was imo, and many other people's, the best team in NFL history, I highly doubt that they will ever be passed.

I am going to watch it tonight at 8PM on the NFL Network.
