In 1998, the Broncos were on their way to immortality, having started that season 13-0. And they unexpectedly stumbled against a mediocre Giants team. No way would they lose two games in a row, right? Their next opponent was a Dolphins team desperately in need of a win just to keep their wildcard hopes alive. It was a big MNF game and the Dolphins handed the mighty Broncos their second straight defeat 31-21. I believe that was the game in which Lamar Thomas had 3 TD receptions.

So let's hope that karma is on the Dolphins side today.
