1st Dolphins Game in Miami...

All - I'm really pumped as my wife just agreed that we'd budget for a trip to Miami to see the Fins this year. I live in the Washington, DC area, and even though I'm a hardcore Fins fan who has had Sunday Ticket since 1999, I've only seen the Fins twice in person...against the Skins and against the Ravens here where I live. We're thinking of going to the Fins/Jets game on Nov. 6 in Miami.

I know I saw a post here recently about going to a Fins game but I have searched and can't find it anywhere...can anyone please give me recommendations of what airport to fly into and where to stay? Also, any other overall advice or tips I should know about? If anyone wants to link the previous post I can't find, I'd be more than happy to look at that as I just couldn't find it.

I'm really excited about seeing the Fins in Miami for the first time, so please feel free to offer any advice (what section of the stadium to sit in, where to park, where to stay, etc. etc.)...thanks!

Ft lauderdale would be easier to fly into as far as proximity to the stadium. If you are just looking to stay near the stadium and not really explore Miami than I'd stay at the hardrock, if not only for continuity sake.

If you've never really been to the area, or even if you have, I'd definitely suggest exploring more of Miami. I stay in south beach every chance i get and you should too. If you do stay in miami fly into MIA.

Either way you should get a rental car to take to the game along with some publix subs, a football, a case of beer and tailgate.

Also, it's absolutely worth buying the orange parking pass ahead of time and parking in the orange lots rather than the cash lots.
