Hey all. Seen lots of interesting posts.. one calling today boring lol. Not for me and my family. I'm sure your family members watching you watch will attest. Always an adventure. All I know is we get 16 guaranteed fins games this year and today is a celebration!

I saw what you saw. I am concerned about the same things, but let's not forget last year first game we came out and dominated the pats.
We had it all.... except they ended up winning the super bowl while we watched.

Let's see if we can build off this! One weird thing I felt after feeling that same Ol feeling of us blowing it is. We got this... watch... and we did.

Not saying it means anything but I was proud we bounced back, made plays and won the game. Don't want to be to high or too low. But I'll enjoy the win.

Anyone else?

On to next week's potential heart attack!!!
At least we are in it together.

man i was thinking the same thing all game. We destroyed the pats I was telling my steelr friends that the road goes through miami this time last year. This season is long talk to me by game 4 -6 and i'll have a real intellectual assessment on were we really are.
 
yeah, last yr was a roller coaster. never knew how good or how bad fins were, including RT. by yrs end, most concluded RT had arrived. lets see how this plays out, and also tap the brakes should miami roll next week- its still only 1 game.

Good post OP......

However, last year in the opener, we started off very slow and dominated the 2nd half. Go back and read the game day thread from last year and it is almost a carbon copy of this year. The same posters...the same sky is falling after 15 minutes of football.

We definitely have room to improve......but some folks need to get a grip.
 
I watched with my family, too. If you think I was negative in the thread where I called the game "Boring", you should have seen my uncle cursing at the TV as if everyone on the team had just ran over his dog.
 
I feel we will bounce back next week, but don't feel that will be a true test of our team. Buffalo on the other hand will be a difficult game to win.
 
Week 1 is always crazy in the NFL, and is never a good predictor of what's to come.

Be happy with a win.
 
I am not worried about a slow start for the first game. I know that part of the problem for the OL is B. Albert getting back his game speed timing. He was off for the whole first half. He will get better. Washington had a great game plan for our defense, and they surprised us. The defensive line coach needs to solve the cut block strategy because we will continue to see it.
 
At this stage of Lurch and Tanny era Dolfans have every reason to be concerned by the execution or lack there of both men against a joke of a Washington staff and team.
