First time so be gentle:
Round 1 - Everette Brown - LB Florida State
If he lasts I would much prefer this guy to Matthews or Ayers.
Round 2a - Kenny Britt - WR Rutgers
Round 2b - Donald Washington - CB Ohio State
Some character risk to both these picks but in our strong coaching environment i think they would be fine - not real bad apples just arrogant types who won't take the wrong type of coaching well. We should go CB/WR here and what's the alternative - Smith/Robiskie? The ceiling on these guys is huge but no chance Parcells will take either unless they have done some real due diligence.
Round 3 -Eric Wood - C Louisville
This guy has been climbing the boards unfortunately but backup centre is a big need. Thought about Brace here but i think he and Raji will both bomb.
Round 4 - Johnny Knox - WR Abilene Christian
Another who has been getting some attention recently - is boom or bust but like his speed. Raiders will probably reach even higher for him however.
Round 5 - Terrance Taylor - NT Michigan
Bad senior season playing too light - needs to add some weight back and can do a job - i doubt Soliai is ever going to cut it. Would have gone much higher as a junior.
Round 6 - Greg Toler - CB St Paul's
Small school CB but has great athleticism.
Round 7a - Ramon Foster - T Tennessee
Probably the one guy i can see us actually drafting, can play guard as well. Big and tough and perfect fit for us.
Round 7b - Otis Wiley - S Michigan State
Can play either safety position and good back up potential.
Guys i'd like to see in camp as FA's include Zach Miller TE, Chase Patton QB, Walter Mendenhall RB, Daniel Holtzclaw LB and Sir Vincent Rogers T - purely on name alone.
