With the cut to 75 players coming tomorrow by 4PM, here are some notable cuts possibly worth a look see:

Geoff Schwartz-obviously is worth a look given our OL depth issues but I think he'll get scooped up by Indy
Terrance Knighton-is it worth it to cut Mitchell and sign him to a short prove it deal?
Paul Kruger-too bad he doesn't fit our 4-3 scheme but still plenty left in the tank
Matt Elam-don't think he lived up to his draft status with the Ravens but maybe he just needs a change of scenery, highly recruited guy
Blidi Wreh-Wilson-played alright but was converted to a safety from CB...6-1 200pounds could maybe play well at his old CB spot
Major Wright-just turned 28 so getting up there in age but maybe worth a look?

I know theres some other decent names out there like Sanchez and Randle among others but we dont have a need for them and I would lose it if we signed Sanchez! obv. our needs are CB LB and OL so most of the above names dont apply....haven't seen any decent LBs out there yet

Sanchez? They are going to cut him after trading for him?

I'd go after Scwartz and Pot Roast.

Depending on if you think Carroo is ready to be the number four receiver right now and how many receivers you plan on keeping, I would be ok with a receiver group of Landry, Parker, Stills, Rueben Randle, Carroo and Grant. I still want Karlos Williams too. Would want to look at corners Wilson and Keenan Lewis.

Randle is getting cut?

He's got skills, but he's a knuckles head. It's frustrating because he's constantly open. His skill set would be great with tannehill if he could focus for once. But he just doesn't seem to care enough.

I don't see him learning a playbook on short notice.

Eagles released wr's Chris Givens and Rueben Randle yesterday. Randle had over 120 receptions over the prior two seasons with the Giants. My interest just went up a bit with Stills going off the field injured. Hope STill's injury isn't serious, but I don't know that Carroo is ready to step in to the three role if something happened to Landy, Stills or Parker.

I forgot about Williams...a little surprised no one picked him up yet...is he out of shape? i think he is def worth a look but with pead doing solid albeit injured and foster/ajayi i dont think theres room for him...lewis on the other hand is def worth it

If a team like the eagles are cutting randle that Should tell you something.

He's one of the more frustrating players I've ever watched. He gets really open constantly. And one of elis best routes he throws to was to the comeback route which randle is brilliant at. But than he would turn around and act like he didn't expect the ball to come and would constantly drop it.

Tannehill might be the one qb in the NFL on par with Eli at comeback routes. If randle could shape up, he would be a great pick up.

But if the eagles cut him than I'd suspect he's locked in, at being a knucklehead.

Hope we can get a corner that actually belongs on the field

I would be interested to see the Wreh-Wilson kid at CB. Was reading about him before. Young kid, was a high draft pick and has played a lot of games. Was beat out by some young guys. He may be better than what we have, depth wise anyway. Schwartz could help us and possibly Kruger. Surprised they were among first cuts, maybe as a courtesy to them.

If they cut Sanchez they get their pick back

Jets should get all the picks they gave up to move up to get him. All joking aside, what a job those jets teams did to hide his horrible play

I would take a look at Knighton (Dolphins desperately need a plugger to put next to Suh). Mitchel is not the answer. Chris Jones & Warmsley lack the size while Phillips has yet to step up and show anything. Also wouldn't mind taking a look at Schwartz and Wreh-Wilson.

Yea, wouldn't mind Pot Roast to help our run defense

I remember a hand full of folks on here upset over missing out on Pot Roast when he signed for waaaay cheap than expected

Guess we now know why.
