2-2 At The Bye Week, Everyone Relax.

Just dont understand the negativity and panic.

80% of the teams would of started 0-2 against the Pats and Texans.

****, the Giants are about to start 0-2 against the Skins and Rams!

Now who would of called the Skins going 2-0 to start the season?

Exactly....
Here's a stat for you. The Dolphins have lost 11 of the last 12 at home and 6 out of their last 7 overall

If we are going with stats...

The Lions have won there last 8 games, SUPERBOWL!

Don't we have the Chargers week 4? We are planning on stopping their offense how? Unless the team becomes enlightened somehow I can't see us hanging with the Chargers.

We CAN and SHOULD beat the Browns, it doesn't mean that they WILL win.

It feels different being on the dark side of the fan base. I appreciate the optimism there's always room for it, and there's always a chance that we can be a good team, but right now I need to be proven otherwise.

Wrong again. The Lions have won their last 6 games and are a lot closer to the Super Bowl then the Dolphins. Don't try and compare the two teams that were trash in 2007 and 2008. The Lions actually hired a GM and Coach that are doing an exceptional job building a model of how to rebuild a team while the Dolphins are no better then they were in 2007.

I understand the frustrations, but I dont see how losing to the Texans by the skin of our teeth, and keeping up with the Pats until the 4th quarter point twoards the Fins going 2-14 or some junk.

I know we have weakness at certain positions, but what team doesnt. Columbo does a average job at RT but gets destroyed on FH because he gives up one or two sacks. Sure there at key moments of the game, but people on here make it seem like this guy is getting blown up on every play. Reshad Jones getting mugged is a result of sending 7 man blitzes and getting 0 pressure on the QB.

We are getting there, Wake is getting into his grove. Texans game showed promise.

I wonder what people would be saying if we would of made those kicks and beat the Texans?
Columbo single handedly gave the Texans 7 points. The announcers on the radio say every week that he's a turnstile so it's not just the fans saying that. The Texans game showed promise? What kind of promise? That the inept coaching staff will be gone sooner than later? Or the promise that we may squeak out a couple of wins this year? And there's no use pondering what people would be saying if the kicks were made because it didn't happen. That being said I like your optimism, it echoes how I've felt up until this point.

The Lions are actually good...

We aren't good.

The Blind Faith Homers think we have a good team.

There are pluses and minuses for both arguments but you can't just blatently ignore the truth's...Truth is we lost by 10 point's, not the skin of our teeth...truth is Jones is blowing coverages and not providing support where it is expected, getting mugged has nothing to do with it, he simply is not following to cover and last our entire Right side of our O-Line IS GETTING BLOWN UP, I'm not sure what games you've been watching but clearly wasn't the Dolphins the past 2 weeks. Vernon needs to go back outside to his regular (old) spot and Columbo can just go home...we need to replace him with someone that knows what they're doing. What makes some of these threads saying Fins 2-14...3-13 or 4-12 believable is one look over to our sidelines to that man with the sunglasses with his latest excuse for the loss "I have no answers" and the way he called this last game (I'll give him a pass on the NE Game)...there is no reason for us to think he's not making the same calls and mistakes from last year all over again. Is there reason for hope? Well sure there is but if TS is going to make all the mistakes Part Deux....All that hope goes right out the window. Beating Cleveland will not change my mind but beating SD and the Jets might just swing my vote.

I'm taking action that all three will not happen...........

I'm very relaxed right now thank you. Not because I expect us to be 2-2 by the break. But because I know this is the last year of this regime. This team is poorly coached, poorly prepared, poorly disciplined, poorly conditioned and poorly led. Trust me I'm relaxed.

the lions are a really talented team. no one is saying superbowl, and with the packers in that division it will be a tough obstacle, but as long as stafford stays healthy which he has not been able to his whole career, they got a shot to do some good things and surprise people.

Let them drown in their own tears, don't try to convince them otherwise. I'm as mad as anyone but we're not going 0-9 before our first win, please, thats not realistic, thats just lol

There are obviously issues that need to be fixed, but that true for nearly every NFL team. The packers have the 30th ranked defense right now and have yielded 57 pts in 2 games. I don't think their fans are ready to jump ship.

Obviously they are a better team, my point is with the NFL being a passing league secondaries will get smoked and teams will score points. I think we have a shot to be 2-2 by the bye week. I honestly think it comes down to whether or not our oline can give henne a few seconds to throw the football.

This is obviously not going to be our super bowl year barring a miracle, but I have to call anyone crazy that thinks we are going to win 1 or 2 games. Logically how does a team go from 7-9 to 1-15 having lost no major players (channing crowder doesn't count ha)

Ok, on the count of 3....everyone take a deep breath and relax. Ready?

1...
2...
3...

See? Much better.

Now, lets keep in mind we lost 2 games to playoff caliber teams. 2 games that we were battling and competing in. Sure Brady smoked us for 500 yards but we were in the game, not the usual 45-0 blowouts. Texans game was ours, but costly turnovers and missed kicks did us in.

Step back and look, we have no glaring holes on the team. Sure you can cry about Reshad Jones or Columbo, but we have no "player" that is costing us games.

Wow , thank you so much for making us realize we are wrong to think there are any problems.

No need to panic , everything will be ok and when we are playing a home playoff game this year , we'll all remember to credit you for making us realize everything was going to work out !

Do you see us as having 12 or 14 wins?

You probably thought we would start 4-0 and go on to finish 13-3 and win the Super Bowl. The amount of unrealistic Dolphins fans is amazing.
