2-2 At The Bye Week, Everyone Relax.

I understand the frustrations, but I dont see how losing to the Texans by the skin of our teeth, and keeping up with the Pats until the 4th quarter point twoards the Fins going 2-14 or some junk.

I know we have weakness at certain positions, but what team doesnt. Columbo does a average job at RT but gets destroyed on FH because he gives up one or two sacks. Sure there at key moments of the game, but people on here make it seem like this guy is getting blown up on every play. Reshad Jones getting mugged is a result of sending 7 man blitzes and getting 0 pressure on the QB.

We are getting there, Wake is getting into his grove. Texans game showed promise.

I wonder what people would be saying if we would of made those kicks and beat the Texans?
The Texans game showed promise? Wow man. We beat ourselves, plain and simple. Has we actually played an elite team we would've gotten beat badly. Everyone thinks the 6-10 Texans are a great team cause they got what two new starters on D and a coordinator? Nonsense, their D still sucks, especially their secondary but we couldn't take advantage of it cause we had to use 6 o linemen cause our retard of a HC can't get anything right. It's pretty bad when your weak link is your incompetent HC only "speciality". Promise.....smh

The one on TV! LOL!

We left what.... 6 points behind on kicks. Another 7 from the dropped Marshall TD Pass, and if we scratch all that out with the "woulda, coulda, shoulda" DT fumbled on what was a promising drive to put us on top.

We were in the battle both games, not the usual Fins blowouts.

So if you erase all our mistakes but let the Texans keep theirs, we MIGHT win? Sound logic IMO.

You probably thought we would start 4-0 and go on to finish 13-3 and win the Super Bowl. The amount of unrealistic Dolphins fans is amazing.

Wow! Relax people,

I acutally have us going 2-2 into the bye week before we even played a game.

Counted the Pats as a loss and we would lose either Texans or Chargers. Going 2-2 into the bye.

Overall I had/have the Fins going 9-7, possibly 10-6

Just dont understand the negativity and panic.

80% of the teams would of started 0-2 against the Pats and Texans.

****, the Giants are about to start 0-2 against the Skins and Rams!

Now who would of called the Skins going 2-0 to start the season?

Exactly....

So...because the Giants suck its cool that we suck. Am I doing it right?

Look, we lost in embarrassing fashion to the Pats and we were never anywhere near being in control of the Texans game. We lost those two games by a pretty wide margin. We were helpless against both, especially on D. We arent talking about 1 point last minute TD losses here. Get real.

You're goin to be disappointed. We have the ability to win 10 games but not the execution or coaching. We ll give away more games. We re a 5-7 win team.

Point I'm trying to make here is,

Everyone is ready to abandon ship and run for the hills because of a 0-2 start to two real good teams. 1 of which will most likely be in the SuperBowl.

So the logic of this thread is that we aren't that bad since we didn't get "blown out" by two playoff calibre teams. Lets look at the '07 team then. They weren't that bad either, shoot, they lost 6 games by 3 points. I feel much better now. 1-15 was just an aberation I guess.
BTW, who really believes we'll beat Cleveland, they beat us here last year and we are worse now than we were then. I'm not even going to mention the Chargers, we never play well on the west coast....even when we were good.
You can put sugar on this pile of crap we call a team and its still a pile of crap.

Well here is the issue we actually have a spark on offense not a fire but a spark but our defense has taken 2 steps back. You have to be kidding. You could see the players not playing for Tony Sporano but why would they take a dump for Mike Nolan. This is a young team in its prime and guys should be stepping up the to plate not trying a way to not show up. We have talent on this team but little motivation.

On offense the ball has to be spread around more and the defense needs to play movitvated end of story.

6 offensive linemen and they still allow TWO players in the backfield right after the snap... Pathetic.

Once you understand the concept that our defense which has given up over 1000 yards of offense in 2 games has actually improved you will really get it!

I see us at 0-4 going into the bye week. Then we lose to the Jets (Hate to say it, but it's reality with this current team and coaching), then win at home vs Denver.

1-5 visiting the Giants.

They SHOULD beat the Browns. If not ****s going to hit the fan. Still can't believe Sparano got an extension. Wish I could screw up at my job and get a raise, I would be the CEO by now :chuckle:
