Let me first say I support Saban 110%, so this isn't a fire Saban tread. My Fiance bought me tickets for last nights game for Christmas (she rocks!). That was my first Dolphins home game. I had a good feel for the entire game. I know there where other factors, such as the dropped int that could have changed the outcome. However, there were 2 coaching calls I think cost us a win at the hated jets. 1st, not starting Cleo. Joey looked horrible and we didn't go anywhere with him at QB. If Cleo starts, we win by atleast 10. Second, we kick a field goal instead of going for it on 4th and one that close to the the end zone with 2 minutes to go?. They hadn't stopped our run yet. That was a gutless call IMHO. I fealt sick when Mare came out. I knew we were going to lose after that. I mean, we are 6 and 8. Lets get some momentum going for next year. 2 bad, horrible, sickening calls, but I still love ya Saban.

Joey looked horrible? He put two passes on Chambers hands and he muffed them....what more could he do? Chambers sucks....he complains...but doesn't show up when you need him....I hope he's gone after this lousy season is over.

Ronnie was impressive and the rain should dictate running the ball
and what do we do???Not run enough !!!Why change the game plan if something is working??

that 4th and 1 was the right call... we didn't have that much time or all our time outs and if we didn't get it it was game over... kicking it was the right call in my opinion, yes you play to win but that doesn't mean you get careless and take potential tieing points off the board if you didn't get it...

JH didnt play horrible but Cleo shoulda got the chance to start.
I agree. Either Joey should have finished the game. The only stupid decision he made was the intentional grounding penalty. He couldn't help it that the receivers let the ball slip through their fingers, or Cleo should have started.

When you have nothing to lose....you play to win....it would have been the right call for the Jets.

We just did not run the ball enough. I don't know why Mularkey feels the need to pass so much.

3rd and 2, 2 backs split in the backfield, minor motions into the backfield to make it 3 backs, cleo rolls out and gets sacked. that was the worst play i have ever seen. JUST RUN THE BALL!!! seriously tho i have no problems with our playmakers on the field, its the calls that mularky makes at the wrong times. someone was right when they said he out thinks himself so much that he has to run a trick play and it never works. meanwhile ronnie is averaging 6.5 yrds a carry. so i dont get it

i'd like to add .. hiring MM

I agree with the fourth and goal play. I remembered a fews years ago when we were making our final run for the playoffs and we went to Minnesota and they had nothing to play for they were loose and went for it on fourth down several times and won the game.

I disagree, and like Stang, I was there and "felt" the same way....kick it and lose. We puussed out and went for the tie... BS in my book...

Yes, Joey looked horrible. Whilst the drops didn't help, only one or two, he continues to make dumb decisions. For example, on a third and 8 he throws the ball 3 yards to a receiver who has three jets bearing down on him instead of trying to throw it to a receiver who is past the 1st down marker. His numbers speak for themselves and he is not the answer...
