#2 Best Offseason Move!

patsdynasty said:
between moss and saban i cant believe saban wasnt #1....

moss has talent but the biggest move was miami getting a real coach....

i admit when i heard the news that saban was hired i wasnt too happy, hes quite similar to bill b and he might not be as successful as bill when hes in the NFL, but then again no one else is 10-1 in playoffs so thats something that will be tough to reach .....

Maybe u could start a bring back wanny site...j/k

Glad to see we finally are getting some respect, the only reason why Moss is #1 I feel is becasue of all the HYPE. Hiring Saban #2 is definitely giving us props which I wouldn't expect from the media... In Saban We Trust.

I still hate Prisco.

You're not alone.

Although he's written some decent articles, the majority of them plain suck.

I did like his Ricky bashing one where he debunks all of Ricky's "enlightened" excuses.

That must have been hard for Prisco. We know how unobjective he's always been with the phins. If it was anyone else Saban would have been #1 :roflmao:

I could just imagine Prisco's face when he couldn't figure out anyways to weasel out of it.

but Bates will get the most out of it. He did a heck of a job with the Dolphins defense when he was the coordinator down there, molding it into one of the best in football.
I nearly fell off my chair when i read that, Prisco praising the Phins D as well as having saban at 2

I agree with the article.

Moss is the best WR in the league and the Raiders vertical passing game is scary.

WOW, what has happened in the world. (pardon the stereo typing) A Pats fan and a BILLS fan both saying non-negative things about the phins?! In the same thread!? OH MY. What next the Cubs win the World Series? =)

I think Saban is going to be a good NFL Coach but that article is chock full of nonsense.

-Why is Linehan so great? Maybe b/c he had Randy Moss? Much like Daunte Culpepper Linehan is overrated b/c of Randy Moss. In big games the Viking offense was non existant.

-Kurt Warner is a great move? Did they watch him play last year? He wasn't benched for fun.

-I agree w/ #4

-Burress is going to be a disaster w/ the Giants. He's an overrated player to begin w/ and they expect him to be great. I can't wait until he and Coughlin go at it.

-I agree w/ #7. Anybody would have been an upgrade from Paul Hackett.

-Bledsoe to the Cowboys :roflmao: Bledsoe has been washed up for years, Vinny Testaverde is STILL better than Drew. Dallas better hope Julius Jones rushes for 2,000 yards if they want to win. Last year Drew had a great D, great STs and a very good running game and still could not get Buf into the playoffs.

Im a Bills fan but above all Im a football fan. I would love to see the Phins have some success and help the Pats, Bills, and Jets prove that the AFC East is THE conference of the NFL. Can you imagine what the playoff race would be like if all four teams were above five hundred? Yikes.

I remember the days when the AFC East was the yardstick by which all other divisions were measured.

This is the first time in years we are getting praised for a good offseason. I like that Jim Bates arriving in Green Bay made the list. I wish him nothing the best unless its against us.

You guys have very short memories. Last year you were bashed and don't think it was rightfully so? But before that every year we had to hear how Miami was a SB contender even though they haven't been close since 1992. Miami always got great press until the last year-year 1/2.

You act like it was 20 years ago. Last year the AFC East was the best division and for the most part it has been the best every year(w/ the exception of '03 where Buf and NYJ both went 6-10) since the mid 90s.

how is Bledsoe to Dallas a top 10 move? that was a bad move for Dallas, Bledsoe is done, he has nothing left to offer. Just one other move that makes me begin to question Parcels. The first one was bringing in Testaverde which proved to be a bad move. He needs to bring in a young guy and stop signing his ex-players

That was an idiotic decision and leads me to believe Parcells has finally lost it. If he can get Drew to be mediocre then I think Parcells is the greatest coach of all time. Drew is awful and has been done for a LONG time.

I agree with you there... except Don Shula is the greatest coach of all-time not Parcels
