is realistically all we will gget with the competition of the market and the big contracts being demanded. With that being said, if you could have just 2 of the big name free agents, who would it be and why?

I think the 2 that would help our team the most right now is Steve Hutchinson and Nate Clements or Deshea Townsend.

Then in that case, I'll take Townsend.
 
DeShea Townsend is garbage.....always has been. I can't believe that anyone would throw his name out there as a big signing.

The name I'd like to see are Julian Peterson and LeCharles Bentley
 
Drew Brees and Julian Peterson.

I know that our offensive line issues will be resolved soon, but what QB is better than Drew Brees on the pressure? This guy has a spider-sense when dealing with pressure, and is a very talented athelete. There are some rumors that San Diego might let Drew explore other options, and if that's the case, Nick Saban shouldn't think twice about grabbing Brees.

Drew Brees is a proven QB, and has matched well against the best defenses.

Julian Peterson is just a monster, I'd love to see him play for the Dolphins, but I think we need DB's more than a LB. We already have Chrowder and Zach, but let see what happens.
 
Bentley and...................................hutch. :)
 
I would love to get Townsend. He fits the system and is the veteren CB we need in our secondary. If he doesnt demand a lot of cash then he will be number 1 on my FA list

Bently and Ty Law

we could probably get Law cheaper, and hes much better than Clements.
