2 free agents I really want in Miami.

Whatever the price, get Marshall!
Wilfolk, I dont want here. He is such a dirty player, I couldnt cheer for him.

I'd love to get Vince Wilfork back home. Brandon Marshall....eh....not so much. That dude is a tire fire. Yeah yeah, he's productve blah blah blah. I personally don't want trash on my team and I don't think Mr. Parcells wants it either.

Dirty lol? C'mon man. Vince is a good dude. Super nice guy. Local boy. See what the other local boy did to us yesterday? Yeah that's the kind of production that's raised in this area. The first time nig Vince ate up an opposing QB for lunch you'd be cheering for him.

Lol, id love to get Andre here. :chuckle:

Ive seen Wilfork poke players in the eyes (Stahan in the superbowl I think) and other 'dirty' tactics. Maybe he is a nice guy, I dont know, but from what ive seen, I dont have a high opinion of him.

WE need either Marshall, V.Jackson, or Miles, and V.Wilfork would be an amazing upgrade at a much needed position. I mean nothing against Solai hes doing great but Wilfork is an ELITE NT.

Everyone is doing that eye gouging ****. It's football as much as I hate it. But you never hear about problems with Wilfork in the locker room. Teammates have great things to say about him. He's not in a coaches face for silly reasons. He's not in the newspapers for domestic abuse and all that other noise that so many get caught up in. Brandon Marshall on the other hand...

Yeah, good point, I dont hear anything 'bad' about him, but like I say, he could be a real nice guy its just ive seen things from him that I didnt like.

Anyway, the Pats will keep him, as the Broncos will keep Marshall, so I cant see either being a Fin in 2010.

I dont see the rats giving him an extension, that isnt their MO. IMO they draft a young NT with one of their high picks and let Wilfork walk

Only Wilfork will actually make it to the open market under the CBA agreement or should i say NO CBA AGREEMENT!!! keep dreaming...

Except vince all the other players do not have the 6 yr to become FA .
all teams have 2 transition tags this year and all the above are restricted FA.

by making the playoff the pats can only sign a few of their FA
logan mankins
vince wilfork
tom brady
out of the 3 they cannot sign all 3 due to this.

Vince Wilfork
Brandon Marshall

No doubt. those two players would go a very long way in us righting a very poor team. Then if we could draft Rolando McClain in the first round and get a NT (I really like Dan Williams from Tennessee) in the second.

Then we would only be a year or two (and possibly a head coach) away from being able to compete for the top spot in the AFC.

Bingo! If they do not get a new CBA ironed out players with less than 6 years in the league will all be RFA thus costing us the contract and draft picks. People can forget about players like Marshal. It would be nice but there is no way that he is not given a contract tender that would cost us at least 2 first rd picks.

Some may think that they will work out a new CBA in time and it is possible. However, I think that there are a lot of owners with dead money on their books that would love to have an uncapped year to jettison that baggage. I expect a lot of stratigic foot dragging by the owners on a new CBA.
