WHy should we draft Percey Harvin???? What we are lacking is a big possesion receiver, one that makes catches over the middle and moves the chains, a T.O. type. If we go receiver we should be looking at Hakeem Nicks not another burner!

harvin may not be a big physical WR, but he is nothing like ginn.

Murphy would be more of what we are looking for . . . but I am not a fan of drafting ANY Florida WR's . . . and that includes Harvin and Murphy. Plus both are still pretty raw at WR . . . we need a more polished guy to come in and compete.

Britt, Nicks, Barden and Lafell (if he declares)

If u want a Harvin type . . . I wouldn't mind taking a look at Brandon Tate. He was the #1 guy ahead of Nicks and he is EXPLOSIVE. He got hurt early this year and is being forgotten. But I wouldn't be suprised if he makes a splash and his stock rises. Should be available in round 3 or 4. Some say round 7 . . . I doubt that. But then again Rod Wright was found in the 7th so who knows.

Yea Ginn wasn't hurt as much.

ginn also didnt play RB. harvin has had more carries from the RB position then he has catches from the WR position. do u think ginn could have 300+ carries in the SEC and not have some injuries?

Do we need someone to carry the ball when we have ronnie, rickie, patrick???

Exactly why we don't need him at WR . . . he isn't polished enough . . . he was more of a RB than a WR in college. We drafted Ginn RAW from college and he is finally coming along at the end of season 2. Next year we are expecting big things.

Harvin is a luxury pick, he doesn't fit what we are trying to do. We don't need any more projects at WR. Not saying he won't be a #1 one day . . . but I feel it could take longer than we want to wait, considering we have gone thru this with Ginn already.

The fact that he got so many reps at RB, means it took valuable time from him being a WR in college. PLUS he is from FLORIDA . . . the home of wide receivers busts . . . I'll pass.

i never said we needed him, i was just saying he is not the same kinda player ginn is. i think percy would be similar to reggie bush or chris johnson for the titans. id have a hard time passing on him unless there just was a damn near sure fire DB sitting there for us.

harvin is a badass ... i don't really like what comes out of that offence for the nfl, but harvin has very good intangibles and i wouldn't mind if we selected him with a 2nd rounder ... the guy has a very good shape also

What's the point of this question exactly?? Harvin only had 194 carries in his career

I will say this, if the Front office selects him I will NOT judge the pick. I have faith in their evaluations.

the point of it was because someone said that ginn didnt get hurt as much as harvin. so i pointed out that harvin had played alot of running back and asked the question that if ginn had carried the ball as much as harvin did, would you think he would have still avoided injury. i was was wrong on the amount of carries..200 instead of 300, not a big deal. the point still remains like i said, he has ran the ball more in his career then he has caught the ball.

Harvin may be bigger than Ginn (weight wise) but his role would essentially be the same as Ginn's (downfield threat).

I'd go with Britt from Rutgers in the 2nd round if he is there. Harvin is small, and we have small already.

pretty funny ANYONE comparing ginn and harvin's game.

they are NIGHT AND DAY as far as style and toughness.

we shall just keep drafting lb's and guards and wonder why
we cant score points and blame the line or the water boy
for the deficiancy in the next draft.

and the next, and the next, and the next, and the next, etc...

as we have done for the last 10 years.
