Chris Houston CB from Arkansas, and Anthony Spenceer DE/OLB from Purdue are 2 guys scouts will be salivating at the mouth to get a look at over the next couple of days.

Soencer measured in a shade under 6'3 and 260 lbs. Talking to Scott Wright, the general feeling in Indy is that Spencer will run a sub 4.4 40 tommarow. If he runs a sub 4.5 many feel he will skyrocket to the middle of round 1 (11-19), but if he runs a sub 4.4, he could lock himself as a top 10 pick, and could go even higher than 9.

Most of you probably already know that I've been pimping Houston for a few months now, but a lot of scouts are anxious to see how he does. If he runs a sub 4.4 40, he too would move up into the first part of round 1.

Now I've said Houston would be a top 10 pick for awhile now so that doesn't surprise me. Spencer on the other hand kind of surprises me. I thought with the expected workout numbers he could rise to 15 to Pittsburgh, but apparantly he's measured out a lot better than most expected and looked to be the most impressive of the DEs. If he puts up the expected workout numbers, I would not be shocked to see him be our pick at 9. He's probably the best pure pass rusher in the draft.

The first two rounds should be reserved for anyone that can help the Phins at QB, LT, LG, or C.

It should be reserved for BPA no matter the position (minus RB). The draft is pretty damn deep at OT, and OG, and has some pretty good Cs as well.

That's one philosophy; and many draft analysts would disagree with you about the depth at tackle and guard.

Both Levi Brown and Ryan Harris I believe said Spencer was the best DE they faced this year.

You've sold me on Houston CW and now his stock is rising and we wont have a shot at him in 2nd :(

but he could be there in the first.

Staley,Harris,Free,Otto,Blaylock,Beekman,Grubbs,Ramirez,Duckworth,Marten, among others is pretty darn good.

I would be absolutely speechless if Anthony Spencer runs in the 4.3's. That would probably the most insane combine performance to date. I was hoping that we could land him in the second round for a while now, but if he does half as well as you expect him to he should be gone in the first. As for him going top 10, I think that is a stretch. Manny Lawson was considered a low first rounder before his impressive combine and moved up towards the middle of the first, I don't see Spencer going much higher than that either. I don't really know much about Chris Houston, but if he runs well he could very well be the first corner taken, once again probably a stretch to go top ten, but teams will always reach for blazing fast corners.

That's what I was about to type. Sub 4.4 at 260 lbs would be one of the most ridiculous physical feats I had ever heard of. I'll be watching this guy closely.

Deep? How is two deep, deep? The draft is scarce in OL this year. It is deep at OLB and WR. But not at OL.

It's deep on the OL. There's some good talent out there.

I've been pimping Houston for a few months in VIP. He's set to interview well and his workout should be outstanding, considering how athletic he is. A tough man to man corner that you can stick on an island and who can run a 4.35.......that's top 14 material. But I think if Darrelle Revis runs a 4.45 or less, he'll probably solidify his spot as the #1 CB IMO.
