If they are fine to sign for not much money I would like fins sign : chad lavalais and tyrone calico.

Lavalais is big, young and could improve and anchor our DL for year to come if traylor groom him 1 year and could form a solid pair with wright and evans in the future but ....he's only a RFA so....atlanta enter in this plan

calico because he's a solid speedters and big WR .....when he's healthy so only if he's not too much big in dollar request.

opinions ?

Actually, I really like the idea of signing Calico, and focusing on a different position than WR at the #9 slot in the draft. So many people want Ginn because of his speed, but Calico is just as fast... he was the fastest WR in the draft that year, with a 4.34 40. Think about Santana Moss who didn't do much his first 4 years in the league, then had a break out year in his 5th season. IF Calico is going to break out, it should be in the next year or 2. Plus, he can be had a lot cheaper than Ginn, and we can focus big free agent dollars on other positions (LB, DL, or CB).

calico has been on the street..........he was a final cut in TC last yr for the Titans

So bring him in on a veteran minimum salary, and let him stretch the field every so often, and/or return kicks.

I don't mind giving him a look if he still as fast and in good shape!

If not come to the CFL Calico and play for the Hamilton Ti-Cats!

I thought Calico's knees were destroyed. Can he still play? I liked him before the injuries. Lavalais I havent really seen.

I still like Kevin Curtis if he's under 2 mil

i like Dennis Northcutt, he isnt the youngest guy out there, but he still has break away speed and can be a returner when called upon. he's a reliable option, not flashy but reliable, and if we could put him on the outside, it allows Chambers to go to the slot where he is most comfortable.

This is what I'm in favor of actually. If we're losing of the Chambers, Welker duo get somebody who had a down year to play WR.

I cannot stand guys who had big years before reaching free agency. That's why I'm in favor of guys like Antwan Peek, Shantee Orr.
