2 things about the bengals after week 1

the defense isn't as bad as it looked, and the offense isn't as good. defensively, the bengals got beat because the jets were more physical, especially on the o line, plus cinncy had some young guys in there because of injuries. on offense, i think palmer and the bengals had success against what is an atrocious jets secondary.

on sunday night i don't think we'll see the bengals give up 31 points, but at the same time i don't think they will score 24.

I agree that the Bungles defense is better than they seemed against the jets, and their offense is probably better. Their weak running game, and dependency on Palmer's arm fits well with our defensive scheme though, and it should prove a good first run for AJ and Lamar.:D

I don't think we will be giving up many points to them, heck we only gave up 10 on Defense to the Titans. The Bengals D might not be as bad as they looked on Sunday, but I still think the Titans have a stronger D. That is why this game will be close and could go down to the final minutes.

we'll do the exact opposite vs you guys on offense. I see us being able to run more than pass. On defense both will improve slightly vs you guys.

Nobody's really as bad or as good as they look at this time of year. Teams like Philly will come back down to earth. And teams like us will rise. How much?? We'll find out. But starting fast/slow is something that always happens in the NFL.

I do tend to agree that I do not think that Cinci will score more than Tenn did. But on the same hand, we probably won't score as much as the Jets did either.

My guess is a 14-10 game. The winner will get one or two more turnovers than the loser. As for which team that will be... I am still torn. I want to say Miami, but I just have no faith in DW.

I wonder what makes Fins fans think that things will be better for thier run D? Sure ours was bad, but the Dolphins did give up 100 yards to a man making his first NFL start in Chris Brown....in the first half! If not for that Brown ankle injury, could be have put up similar numbers to Curtis Martin? Maybe. The Fins D is not what is used to be and the run D is really missing Bowens. Rudi will run early and often in this one as our O-line starts to get healthy.
