2 wide recievers willing to sign minimum deals

Do you honestly think with Ireland's ass possibly on the line this season that he is in rebuild mode? HELL NO. Ireland wants to win NOW. We were 6-3 in the last 9 games of the season once we dumped Henne, who was obviously the issue. We are CLEARLY closer to the playoffs than you think.

Also keep in mind that Matt Moore got ZERO reps with the first team in a shortened offseason. Not even in the preseason did he get any snaps with the first team. So of course he went 0-3 in his first three starts. Once he got rolling, he was a top 15 quarterback. And yes, top 15 quarterbacks make the playoffs AKA FLACCO AKA ANDY DALTON AKA TJ YATES AKA MARK SANCHEZ AKA TIM TEBOW .. the list goes on, and some of these guys are even considered top 15, they are considered in the bottom half of the league

LOL! No way he was top 15 QB LOL! How many games was there when our defense made plays and gave him a short field? How many dropped interceptions were there? Sad that our fans now see mediocre qb's as top 15 qbs.
 
If I had to choose, I would pick PB but I would rather have neither one.
 
Say what you want, but either of those 2 or T.O. is a significant upgrade over the pedestrian crew we have now. All the receivers we have are good guys but none of them would even be a number 2 on any other team and that is just sad. We absolutely need to do something. All these people saying don't worry, we will use Clay and other TE's in multi TE sets are wishful thinkers if you think we don't need a legit threat at WR. This is a chunk yardage league now, and we have nobody that can do that right now...hopefully Gates can step out of his shell and do something this year....but right now as it sits, this is the worse group of starting receivers I have ever seen.
 
We wont get either. Bad attitudes and they dont fit the system! Im fine with the group we have now

Both of these guys are tall and slow....I just dont see them fit for the WCO
 
totaly not going to happen.....Philbin doesn't want those kinds of players.....get it in your heads guys, no primadonas are going to be in this team.....is a new era and I love it.

They are both good red zone threads because of their physical skills and experience, but also they have pretty negative issues.

Braylon Edwards is well known for being a lazy player and owns butterfingers as he can complete the fancy catch, but drops important passes. I don't see him as a compatible player for Philbin.

On the other hand Plaxico Burress is a diva player who has excellent skills but needs a change of attitude. He could become an important piece of some team with an experienced coach like Bill Belichick or John Harbaugh but our coaching crew needs to avoid such distractions on the roster.

I would add Burress if he signs an incentive-landed contract.
