Does anyone remember the 2000 draft? I was just flipping through the Street and Smith's Draft Preview guide for the 823798723 time and I just noticed that the jest had FOUR first rounders that draft! Anyone know HOW they came about them?

Here's how it looks like it went down:
The Jets get a 1st round pick (16th) in the 2000 draft due to Bellichick's leaving for NE while under contract with them. They traded that pick to SF and end up with their 18th overall first rounder. THen they traded Keyshawn Johnson for TBs 2 1st rounders. The 18th, their pick, and the 2 1st rounder gave them 4 1st rounder which was an NFL record.
Many experts often wonder how much more they would have sucked had they not had such a large boost in young talent
