2003 draft

ok... some1 come out with the scouts inc report on the player please... thats the only way to end this... ive watched zt like u, and hes always been a liability on the pass...

so just because you're a 4 year vet makes u priviledged to automatically start even though he nevers makes a big play (int, fumble)... all im saying is if moore was so good, we would have seen him get a valid chance, which we havent... therefore Hyde's source CAN be right... everything else we're arguing is semantics... the 2003 should be consider a bust as of right now, with SMITH, MOORE, AND WHITLEY leading the pack... any other questions???

not saying Hyde's source couldn't be right. I just doubt this source even exists. I can say I have an unamed source that says "the players love Wansteadts mustache".

Generally speaking 4 year veterans are better than rookies. Generally speaking. Plus Greenwood is not exactly a liability. He played well last year, and he has played well this year. There is this weird thing called a system, and some players in this said system have less of a chance for the big plays.

Unnamed sources. Hmmm wonder why they are unnamed? Possible because its not true?

People are just making stuff up to pile on. Don't listen to them.

I bet it's Arturo Freeman. Something tells me he's not happy on the bench, and he's got a big enough mouth to say whatever Hyde wants.

Moore isnt a rookie anymore... and if a spot could use improvement, and usually everything can, moore would see time... hes a bust...

he was hurt in training camp last year. That is pretty much a rookie.

plus I have yet to see proof that he is behind Bua. I have yet to see Bua actually out play him at linebacker.

what bout pope? hes a 7th rder... guys come up with something better than this little minutae... im bored with this thread now ahaha... it got turned into lets fight about little bs instead of focusing on the main point: the 2003 draft sucked for us (thats why wanny lost personnel control btw, and missing the playoffs)... lets talk about something else... like pittsburgh... im gunna come out on a limb and say if we're not 2-2 when we face NE (i think thats our 5th opponent), the season is dead.

moore= just about as much of a bust as fletcher.... ok now im done

He is not a rookie in rookie terms. He missed his entire rookie year.

This is his first year in the NFL playing. He is like a rookie in that sense.

u know... ur really an idiot man......
I'm an idiot and you are the one bashing a player who has only been able to play for two games, because you read something in a paper. Go figure this logic.

they update the rest of the site on a daily basis... why not that part...
Because its not that important of a thing to update. Once they do, it will still show that Moore is backup to Greenwood.

FakeSpike13 said:
bottom line is Moore was a wasted pick, much like fletcher was... he's only on the team because imagine the bad pr at this time if he were to be cut...
Moore may be a wasted pick. However, its too early to say that since he has been able to play for all of two ball games.

Talk about instant gratification.

are u kidding.. zach has always been labeled as suspect on pass D... he's got great instincts on blowing up a run, or a screen... and i love his heart... but u can't deny that he's suspect on pass d
Moore is not a MLB. He is an OLB. Moore cannot replace Zach.

no it is not. This is a case where you are dead wrong. No one calls Zach slow for one. Maybe to slow to cover the randy moss of the world. I have been watching Zach since he came into the league. I have yet to listen to an annoucer mention how he is bad against the pass.
zach has proven to be a liability in pass coverage at times
and no, not randy moss, many te's have gotten their yards on him
fakespike is right on that
i think what he's meaning with moore is that he was drafted with hopes of challenging greenwood for the srtarting spot
i have to admit that draft (so far) has really sucked

FakeSpike13 said:
what about beating out greenwood ? dont just conveniently omit the other starter because it helps your argument...
He was the 4 year vet that was brought up.

FakeSpike13 said:
according to Hyde, he's the last LB on this team... a 2nd rd pick, behing a 5th rd converted safety in bua, and a 7th rder in Pope..
Pope is a MLB. Moore is a SLB. Learn the difference between the two positions. Bua is WLB.

let me ask all u guys something attempting to nitpick at my original post.... what is ur point? Do you want to say that the 2003 draft was productive.... ROFL.... i dont hear u sayin anything about our great wade smith and whitley... why is that... and even the stuff you're saying is garbage... talking about credible sources and then using an obviously false miamidolphins.com depth chart, saying ZT is not suspect on pass D.... cmon i knew this board was full of homers, me being one of them, but not this bad...
Obviosuly you must be new here. I'm far from a homer. I'm probably one of the most hated posters here, for my knocking of the team.

No one is saying the 2003 draft has been productive. However knocking Moore (A player who missed his entire rookie year with an injury) for not starting or whatever reason you picked him is asinine.

Moore had been on a NFL roster for 2 games in his entire professional career.
He may be the last Linebacker. Does not mean anything or that he sucks. May just mean Miami is full of solid LB. And since this is DW love positions, it may very well be the case.

FakeSpike13 said:
Greenwood is solid at best IMO... if moore was special enough to be chosen in the 2nd rd, when most prognosticaors had him a round later... he would have had a shot
Greenwood was a 3rd round pick that Miami traded a future 2nd round pick for. He is not chop liver. Also he has 3 years of NFL under his belt, compared to Moores ZERO.

Since when is being selected in Rd. 2 mean you are special?
