2005 Dolphins = 1999 Rams

Ok people, you're going to have to work with me here.........It's not that I really believe any of this, but there are some interesting parrallels that can be drawn here.

Ok, here we go

1999 RAMS
1. 4-12 the previous year
2. Bring in veteran QB, formerly of the Redskins to run the offense
3. New Coach (Vermeil in only second year)
4. Draft Class with stacked at top with QB, RB, and WR prospects (T.Couch, D.McNabb, A.Smith, Edge, Ricky, Holt, Boston)
5. Serious need at RB after RB-by-commitee last year.
6. Rather than draft a RB or QB, take the best WR available (Torry Holt)
7. Trade for Colts All-Pro RB (Marshall Faulk)
8. Veteran former Redskin injured in pre-season so young QB who's been with the team for one year steps up (Kurt Warner).
9. 13-3 regular season
10. Win Super Bowl!

The 2005 Dolphins can follow that blueprint all the way to the Super Bowl!!
All we need to complete the transformation is:

1. Trade Surtain for Edge
2. Draft Braylon Edwards
3. Take out Frerotte in the pre-season
