Don't like talking about next years draft before the season even starts however DT is obviously a major concern.. So the question becomes do we draft a QB or DT in the first round? Obviously if we had the #1 pick (god forbid!!) we would use it on LEINHART otherwise would you draft a STUD DT or a second tier QB..
Just food for thought while we wait for more EXCITING news..

it depends on which of the players at those positions step up and show that they don't need to be replaced

Well, I'd like to go with either a LT (Marcus McNeil) or a QB (Reggie McNeal) in the 1st, and pick up a DT in the 2nd or 3rd. That would work out nicely.

With the abundance of stud OTs in the first round, choosing our position now really depends on how we finish. If we have a shot at the 3-4 OTs like McNeil, Ferguson, etc. then we need to take it. However if we are a 9-10 win team, we might be out of contention for an OT so taking a DT would be next of need. Its too early to tell because our record will determine what position we take next year.

I'd like to look at Charlie Whitehurst from Clemson.

He is the kind of guy whose stock could soar with a good senior campaign.

He has good size and talent and could be dangerous if he were to put it all together.

If Feeley doesn't work out, I think we should take a very long look (oh hell, why look, let's just draft him) at Reggie McNeal. He could be an exciting quarterback. If Feeley works out, we should draft defense.

I would like to see Whitehurst have another good year before I think of drafting him.. He looked like a worse version of Fielder last year at Clemson..

Hence the 'if he could put it all together'.
