2006 GM League

what exactly is this? i see it in other forums as well. explanations plz? thanks.

You basically take the GM spot of an NFL team. We have a salary cap you must stay under. You can use a franchise/transition tag, decide which restricted free agents to tender, what players to cut, etc. You can trade with other teams. We have a free agency period which will probably be next month, and a draft which will probably start around the beginning of april. It does take up some time and alot of people get into it and then quit halfway through because they didn't have time or didn't realize what they were getting into, so I would recommend you have a good bit of time to spend on it before you sign up. It's bascially an offseason passtime to pass the time between now and the real NFL draft.
 
basically it is like sim baseball leagues but for football? Do you have a process to sim out the regular season or just doing offseason moves?

Just the offseason moves....we've never simulated a season although it has been discussed before.
 
The league is currently full. However if anyone would like to get on a waiting list for when someone drops out (we have people do it every year), send me a PM.
