Although i believe the Fins will be GREAT in 2006 and win the AFC East, dont you have to be a little concernd that the patriots are back to their usual 14-2 form? They are playing great and have a lot of their guys back. They sure are scary. Man i hate that team so much.

It will be a great race to the division title and i cant wait to see the Fins win the title

Yeah...the Patriots are not going to hand the division to us. When the Pats are clicking like they were today...EVERYTHING goes their way. They are a great team and we need to take the division away from them. Not sure if that will happen next year, but I'm hoping.

I know one thing, there pass protection looked superb.

Bill B... :sidelol: @ Wanny....Bill B.... @ Saban....thats good enough for me :)

the division will always be a dogfight as long as brady and bill b. are there, so that doesnt bother me as i accept it.

it all depends who the fins qb is

Yeah we need a Qb in the worst way. I don't know if we are going to draft a QB or we already have our QB in Lemon but until we get a starter that can play consistent football then we are not going to be as productive as we have potential to be.

They did look good today.Im not sure what to do about our QB situatio. Gus is a good backup, but I think he is scheduled to make 6 million dollars next year. If we draft a rookie who actually pans out, he will be at a minimum not ready till 2007. I feel the window with JT, ZT, Ricky might be closed by then. Saban is a smart dude. I would be suprised to see him bring in a has-been like McNair or put the burden on some second stringer. The other options will require trading our draft picks which will just dig a deeper hole .

Where does this leave us? This is where Mueller must work his magic. He has to find a late rounder, a castoff, an undrafted free agent, we just need hard work and a little luck.

Really doesn't matter how the Patsies looked today because next year is a new year. Let's see how the off season goes for both teams before we start making predictions.

NE beat a Jax team that played nobody this season. NE will be defeated by the Colts, period. The AFC East will be totally up for grabs next year, trust me.

The road to greatness goes through New England. I wouldnt have it any other way.
The only really big concern I have, obviously is the Qb situation. Gus vs. Brady in a meaningful game? We might as well not show up.

NE is going to have Salary Cap problems according to most people.

Also don't forget that they may have the oldest team in football. The heart of their defense McGinest, Bruschi, Harrison, Vrabel are all well past 30. Dillon is near the end of his career.

They will always be competitive but they are vulnerable like the rest of the league.

It's ok...the Pats have to go to Denver or Indy next...no more home field cooking by THEIR refs who give them every call.

I think it's safe to say that unless the Patriots lose Tom Brady, we'll be shooting for a Wildcard spot in '06, and that's fine with me for next year, but I think we'll be stocked come the 2007 season, and we can overtake them if our team plays as solid as theirs does.

The draft can't get here fast enough! :)
