This is what could be:

FB -- Barnes
WR -- TO (he'll finally have his QB, and the only one who can control him, too)
WR -- Chambers
TE -- McMichael
LT -- McIntosh or Alabi

DE -- Holliday
NT -- Traylor
DE -- Carter
OLB -- Taylor
ILB -- Crowder
ILB -- Thomas

CB -- Nate Clements (or another FA if we can't afford Clements)

Like it....But want Morris as the FB....love that guy!:dolphins:
 
i don´t see how we would get favre, owens, bentley, clements under our cap, also just imagine we get favre, isn´t he like only 25 TD´s away to break dan´s record ???
 
We don't need another over the hill quarterback. We need a franchise quarterback, forget the bandaids, heal the wound.

I also like Morris, but I can't go with Favre... He's a legend, but I don't think he's going to come here.....

Shout...I can't see Favre here. My concern with him is whether his head is still in the game. His physical skills have diminished a little, but he still has it. I just would hate to have him give up on playing in the middle of things here, which if his head is really not into playing could happen...

TO: No thanks, even tho he'd be a major upgrade for us on the field. Givens is just a younger version of Booker, so why change at all, except to add a better 3rd WR...

LT is going to be an interesting battle. Big Mac is better suited to be our swing tackle, but his salary is a little high for a backup tackle. Alabi is going to be interesting. He'll get a real shot and hopefully will be building up his strength this offseason.

C - Bentley would be a great addition. He and Hadnot have both played C and RG...But he would solidify the interior of the line.

I like Traylor and he played well last year. I really like to see us grab up Grady Jackson..he's a younger version of Traylor, but could be around for 3-4 years where Traylor's time would probably be up this year...however, his cap hit is in line IF Wright and Vickerson can show their capable of spelling him and Carter.

Carpenter would be a great pickup...I really think Saban will surprise us on day one with another starting LB...Seau is probably done so Crowder moves into his spot or Carpenter [if he's the guy] moves into Seau's spot and Crowder becomes Zach's main backup. Capers will create packages that include Crowder and/or Carpenter even if they're not the starters.

CB- Clements would be another great pickup in FA...I think he is a better tackling Pat Surtain. I'd like that addition, but if not, Saban goes CB in the 1st or 2nd round.

Overall, your lineup would be awesome...would definitely, on paper, make us instant contenders for more than just the first round of the playoffs...

On a side note, how awesome would it be for us to have Favre here when he starts breaking more of Danny's records....

It may be a little unrealistic with Favre, TO (who we don't want anyway), Bentley and Clements. How about this one?

It's insane to want Favre as the QB...You guys would make Spielman look like a genius...

Favre is done and he is throwing Interceptions after Interceptions.

HE WILL NOT UPGRADE THE QB POSITION AT ALL...
 
Again, Favre will not be a Dolphin. And as for getting TO, Bentley, and Clements, I'd LOVE to see it, but I don't think being able to afford that is a possibility.
 
Id love to see all these players as well, but the question is, can u afford to add a clements, a bently, a Favre, and TO? not to mention trade down for a high priced draft pic?

Clements thinks he's a top tier CB and wants to be paid like one. Most of my buddies are Bills Fans up here and they also want Hutchinson and/or Bentley. The demand for those 2 players will drive up the price.

If we can walk away from FA with Bentley, and one decent DB, I would be very happy.

Let's just say we did get Favre, which from what I hear might very well happen, How much do you think we he wants? 5-10 million a year? were not that far underthe cap even after we cut all those "players".

Same with TO.

What I can see if we do all that you suggest is a similar situation to what Denver has right now, 40 million over the cap because of incentives during the season... now is that the kind of team we want or do we want a Team similar to the Bears, that has some good young talent, a great offensive line and 15 mill under the cap even before March 3rd.
 
that line-up stinks of madden and half of those people wont be happy either(for all the madden franchise players out there)
 
LOL, you don't think i want a better team as well to play online in Madden with. I was the only person in Buffalo at the Madden challenge that played with a non playoff team with Miami, and I won 2 games with them. Give me an offensive line, Favre, and TO lol I will crush my opponents lol.
