2006 NFL Draft/Combine: Dates/Details/Questions

I believe it looks like this: 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 7, 7

Our 5th goes for Manny Wright. Our 6th went to SD for Cleo Lemon.

Is there any possiblity of packing those 7th rounders for like a 5 or 6th or something of that caliber?
 
I'm still hoping someone can tell me about the "conditional draft pick" that was supposedly part of our trade of... crap. The special teams ace... what was his name... hold on, I'll find it...

The Miami Dolphins traded linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo, a Pro Bowl alternate on special teams last season, to the Chicago Bears on Monday for tight end John Owens and a conditional draft pick.

Ok, thanks. I thought we aquired another 5th or 6th from somewhere.

even if they could, I'm not sure I would want to. Nick picked very wisely in the 7th last year... him having three picks there makes me more happy than one 5th or 6th, personally.

Miami has a #7 pick from Green Bay (OG Brad Bedell)

Miami has a #7 from Chicago (LB Brendon Ayanbadejo)

We also got a conditional 7th rounder from New Orleans, (RB Jesse Chatman) but he got cut, so we didn't get the pick.
 
Not sure we still have 3 7th rounders. One of them was a conditional 7th we acquired from the Saints,. and the guy we traded (Chatman) didn't meet the condition.

So we already got the conditional pick. Was it only conditional on him making the team? Is that why we knew so early?

I was hoping, considering what a year he had, that it might have ended up higher.

But any pick is welcome.

We already have the picks from GB and Chicago. Both players made the teams. I heard the GB pick might turn into a 6th rounder based on the conditions, but I have not seen that confirmed anywhere.

6th (bedell from packers)

7th Ayanbedejo (Bears)
 
It's enough picks to make something happen. I hope Saban picks plenty of questionable players that dropped. We got Fred Gibson and Kay-Jay Harris last year which was great considering their draft value.
