. It's time to start thinking about what we might do when the offseason rolls around. The Dolphins have blown several games this year and that is due to a lack of personel and terrible offensive play calling. So I've generated a small "TO DO" list for the 2006 offseason

1. FIRE SCOTT LINEHAN!!!

2. Adress the quarterback posistion We all knew at the start of the year, Gus Frerrot never was and still is'nt the answer here. We all need to understand also, that Rosenfels and Lemon's chances of becoming the next Tom Brady is about .001%. So, where do look to fill this void? I don't think a rookie is the way to go. I'd rather have someone with at least a little bit of NFL experiance. Does anyone know what the QB market is going to look like this offseason. If the Chargers are absolute ******S and let Drew Bress go, he must be a dolphin next year. If not stay in San Diego and get, who in my mind, can still be a star in the NFL, Phillip Rivers would be a nice fit and i wouldnt think he would have the growing pains because he has learned the game for 2 years now. If we must go rookie, i think brady quinn is our guy.

3. Draft Defense and O-Linemen Our defense is still very good. But guys like Thomas, Madison, and Seau are gettin old. Plus our secondary just stinks. Adress the aging defense with some youth in the draft and get a couple of blue colar lineman who can step in and protect our new QB and make holes for the best RB tandom in the league. We still have several great veterans on D with Taylor, Holliday, Carter, Traylor, and Thomas will even be there for some more years plus i really liked the picks of Crowder and Daniels last year.

4. Keep Chambers but compliment him Chambers has made some big plays since being here but drops the ball way too much. He would be a great releife to someone else as the #1. As much as i hate him, Terrel Owens, would be a great add for this team. Let Chambers know that he is'nt the man where we have several playmakers in Brown, Williams, and McMike. Also Wes Welker is coming on strong and Marty Booker can be a solid wideout.

5. Get a new place kicker Keep Mare for kickoffs but get a new place kicker. I am sick and tired of seeing Olindo miss easy kicks

6. A new play caller All i need for proof is the 4 plays from inside the 10 in todays game vs. New England. Ronnie and Ricky are capable for 20 carries a peice per game. Why not give them the ball more?

These are just a few of my ideas, feel free to tell me what you think of them.

I wish we could get Mason Crosby, the kicker from CU if he comes out...he kicks 50 yarders as if they are extra points. :)
