Unless Nelson failed a drug test I don't know about, there's no way he's there in the 7th round. Charley Casserly thinks he could go late round 1, many think he'll go in rounds 2 or 3 and I can't see how he'd go any later than round five.

Also, your two possible UDFA's will both be drafted IMO. Sammie Lee Hill will go anywhere from rounds 2-5 and Ogletree should go before the 7th round is up.

I agree with the General about Nelson. NFLDS ranks him in the 3rd though. Keenan Lewis is also ranked a 3rd, but he could make it to the early 4th. If you just move Nelson to being the 3rd rounder and bump the players below him down a round, it would be plausible.

Taylor and Appleby are 6-7 rounders and Kemp is a 6th, according to NFLDS web site.
It is all opinions of course before the fact, but they are probably the most credible online draft info source.

He is right about Ogletree and Hill, they are ranked as a 3-4 round and 5-6 respectively.

Your draft though is a nice collection of players

i apologize.... i was looking at a january mock draft in a different site, n did my own according to their stats. i made myself look like an idiot after the 3rd round... sorry guys...

and btw, footballexpert dot com has nelson going in the second to the falcons. makes a hell of alot of sense to me..

once again, my bad.. i will be updating a new one in a bit.

In fairness, not too many have us taking Kruger, who would be very good value in the 2nd round.

amazing draft..............never going to happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mike mayock has l english rated in top 20 most talented players in draft.......considering the premium for pass rushers why do u think he would last until pick 44

Today, www.nfldraftscout.com ranks English as the 40th overall player. Mayock isn't the end all be all authority on where the players are rated. Neither is NFLDS for that matter. Just that a reliable source has him at that point makes it plausible. His pro day may move him back up a little though, where 44th would not be realistic.

How do you take Krueger in round 2? h edoesnt fit our offense.. he Weighs 265, wher eis he gonna play? he is a DE but is too small for a 3-4 DE and he is not a hybrid DE/OLB so where is he gonna play

Analysis of Kruger from NFLDS, they seem to disagree with you:
Positives: Tall with a fairly developed upper body and the frame to add another 10-15 pounds of muscle without losing speed. ... Relentless as a pass rusher, works hard to attack the passer in or outside the pocket. ... Gets under his man's pads to push him into the quarterback. ... Overwhelms backs and tight ends in pass protection. ... Nice straight-line and closing speed. ... Flashes explosiveness as a tackler and has the length to secure. ... Also hustles down the line and chases ballcarriers downfield. ... Good backfield awareness and lateral agility to knock down passes and keep contain on reverses, run plays and bootlegs. ... Very good at changing direction in space, can drop fluidly. ... Effective playing upright as a 3-4 rush linebacker due to his length, hustle and athleticism. ... Handles coverage responsibilities well, staying with backs in the flat and on wheel routes. ... Breaks down and drops his hips in space better than you'd expect for his size. ... Mature player with an excellent motor.

Negatives: Must continue to build strength throughout his body. ... Plays too tall at times, allowing better offensive tackles to latch onto him and take him out. ... Has not yet mastered how to rip off blocks at the line. ... Needs more pass rush moves, relies on a bull rush that worked against the Mountain West but might not be enough against stronger NFL tackles. ... Will be a 23-year-old rookie with two years of college football experience.
